I have enjoyed the Party Popteenies ever since my niece got some and wanted me to play with her. I liked them so much, that I got some for myself. While the dolls may not move or have clothes to change, they can still fuel your imagination. They come with adorable accessories and in these Double Surprise Poppers you get an adorable little pet and your doll comes with glitter accents on her clothes. I will warn that the little accessories are easy to lose, because my niece (who is 7) has lost a few pieces. I personally keep my little accessories in resealable sandwich bags and I keep them all in the box that my 6pack Party Popteenies came in. I even got myself the Party Popteenies Party playset (because I found it for a great deal). I am a kid at heart and find playing with toys stress relieving and brings back the excitement of how it felt to get a new toy. Plus my hubby's wallet thanks me because these toys are more affordable than jewelery! lol I would recommend these dolls to anyone who loves collecting small figures.

Updated: Company sent me replacement one. My daughter has opened a good dozen of these toys now. She enjoys opening them, plays with them, with a little extra set she got for these as well, and we haven’t had an issue since that one. I bought 2 of these and another kit. They aren’t the easiest to open, my 6 year old didn’t actually get to actually ‘pop’ the first one, as she pulled and peeled a tad to much at the shrink wrapping, and the top that holds in the confetti came off before actually popping, on the first one. Once we got her to do it correctly, the second one she opened, popped so hard, the head broke off the doll (see pic) and went flying across the room. She still enjoyed them, but it was kinda of disappointing that we are down one of the little dolls :( They also pop out confetti, which I knew, but just be warned for a slight mess :) Over all they are a cute alternate to other surprise toys, just make sure they aren’t pointed at anyone when popping! That head came flying out fast! Had the head not flown off, I would rate this toy a 3.5. It’s a cute idea, especially for a birthday present, as they are very festive. The dolls are smaller, but my daughter plays with them just as any other surprise type toys.

Bought this for New Year's celebration. It's a 2 for one- there are two sections that both twist open to shower you with confetti and reveal a toy. My 4 year old daughter didn't do it correctly and ripped the top off, therefore it did not pop. Mine was really pretty and showered confetti over the room. This toy clearly was not designed by parents because it is really messy, but really fun. It is a good price as well.

My nieces absolutely loved these! We opened the first one inside then after that we took them outside because the confetti and glitter was everywhere. But it was well worth their excitement. It also made for some fun boomer rang videos which the girls love to do.

I'm glad I snagged these when they were $2 each. I purchased 3 and 2 were the same and one had a broken doll inside. There is an alarming amount of trash which also makes these pretty time consuming to open. They are really difficult for kids 5 and under to twist and "pop." Overall a neat concept. We enjoyed the popping and confetti but the kids didnt enjoy how long it took to open, that they couldnt pop it themselves, that two of the three were the same and that one was broken. Mom didnt enjoy the trash. I see some room for improvement but for $2 I would buy then again. If they were priced above $3 i would probably look for something more environmentally and kid friendly.

So, I give them a 5 start because my kids looooove them. I hate then. It's kitschy, cheap and kinda tacky. Poppers are exciting. There is anticipation that make you feel all giddy and when you pop that sucker and nothing comes out, it ruins the day. We have has more poopers not pop than ones that did. So disappointing.

My family loved this product. It’s got good quality material. This item is super cute and easy to open. My little sister with disabilities was able to pop the toy just as described. Would definitely recommend.
