With the current global situation I have found myself with more at home time than before so I've taken up paint-by-numbers again. I think most people who do these types of crafts know that the brushes you receive are usually pretty awful and are never quite up to par. I was working with a couple kits that had very poor quality paint and needed better brushes than I already have in order to apply the paint. I should have bought these brushes from Dugato ages ago! You can tell before you even open the package that they are of excellent quality. Once I opened it up and pulled out the 4/0 I realized what I had been missing. These are great quality brushes, they are VERY comfortable to hold and to guide into very small spaces. The hairs on the brushes themselves are very soft and I was worried at first that they would fan out too much and end up making more of a mess, but they don't. The hairs fan out really well and evenly too, and do an excellent job of smoothing the paint out. They definitely aren't for just blobbing paint on a surface, even though you can use them for that. They are exactly as described, fine detail brushes, and I'm very pleased with the quality of the brushes, the price for the product, and I even got an email from the seller just checking in to make sure I got what I ordered. That's above par for customer service these days. Should I ever need some more craft items, I'll check out this seller first because they know what they are doing.

I am thrilled with these brushes. They have helped me get painting again. My husband loved me painting and my Rocks. He passed away two years ago, and one of the things he had told me. before he passed, is that he wanted me to start painting again, I had stopped painting , to take care of him, and my heart was not into it then, there was no "Happy place in my heart" to create my rocks. So, it's been 3 years, and I just was told by a close friend, that are town does Painted Rock Auctions, for Breast Cancer. That was the start to motivate me, I swear it is him! ( My husband ),His way of getting me going again. Then things just fell into place, art desk "appeared ", Next door Neighbor getting rid of it. Saw a book that was on a Rock painter I did not know even existed! ( Lin Wellford) Then my other neighbor, came to tell me that there is a lady that is giving rock paint classes on painted animals. I called the number and she has FREE classes of Friday!! Just bring your brushes!!!!! FREE ROCKS AND FREE PAINT!!! WHAT! who does that!???? My brushes are old and I thought I might need to buy some NEW detail brushes. I popped on to Amazon and here was this great price from You and detail brushes with a storage case.!!!! Spooky!..... meant to be....... My husband putting this all together in less that 24 hours, Crazy ugh? So, I go to the free class on Friday, with my hand dandy NEW BRUSHES! I am smiling :) For the first time in a long time. I was married for 47 years to my best friend and the love of my life. He is making me get started again, .................. Great brushes, perfect for painting fine details. That said, the packaging of this product has a HORRIBLE ODOR. Upon opening the box the contents SMELLED SO BAD of a chemical/plastic odor that it actually made me GAG! I had to completely unpack the contents, remove all the protective plastic of each brush and individually air out the brushes, bag and box out on my back patio for several days before I could use them.

So I actually got these only for face painting. I do cosplaying and face painting and needed some better brushes than what I've been able to find locally. I have tons of brushes already but none so finite as these. They are perfect for the tiny details I use. Also because my subjects aren't very large either. Children's faces are hard to paint without brushes that can give you the tiniest details. Love that these are so perfectly shaped to help my damaged hands hold without tons of effort too. They have a triangular finger hold and I hadn't noticed that when I bought them. I have tennis elbow and border line carpal tunnel after my time in the military, and the brushes are shaped perfectly to where I can use them longer without pain or cramping. My old brushes, my hand would cramp up after a bit and I'd have to take a break or wear my braces, and boy is it hard to paint faces in braces. Lol. I would definitely recommend these for painting smaller designs and finer details!

These brushes work amazing for their price!! I'm an art student who constantly needs to put their brushes to work with all types of mixed media, and they are remarkable brushes for their price. I use them several times and they hold up to several cleanings and transitions into different media, the fine point brushes work best for watercolor but they do well with gouache, oil, and acrylic. I have bought several brush packets from Dugato and their quality has held up each time, their brushes make smooth strokes and never drop bristles into the work. They are affordable, quality brushes and I only look for dugato products when I need more!

I’ve spent a fortune on brand name brushes for miniature painting over the years. And despite near OCD levels of care I still get splitting and loose the evasive sharp tip. Sometimes before I even use them. I have not had these long but the handles are nice and thick with a triangular grip. The bristles thick soft and wonderfully pointy and I’ve been able to paint fine detail At this price I’m sure I’ll be buying again

I stopped painting to write review for these brushes. I had been searching for detail brushes for months and tried many. These brushes are just so good!!! the spot brushes are precise and i absolutely love the flats. i still have to use the liners, I don't use liners much though. i just love the experience. they are picking the oils just right and blending them very nicely. the grip is comfortable and smooth. highly recommended!!

I bought this so that I could paint miniatures and also paint with my wife, they are perfect for the odd jobs, touch ups and big jobs. I would highly recommend these brushes.
