This device is not only extremely economical, it far surpasses the old traction device I had which needed to be manually inflated. It charges rapidly and inflates easily. It delivers effective pain relief.

Very safe and effective neck traction pillow. It helps with my nerve pain and discomfort so far with only using it 3 times. It fits me, 17.5 inch neck but likely won’t fit for any larger size neck. The electric motor inflator charges fast and it inflated it in only a couple of minutes. I like the quality and durability. I had cervical vertebrate fusion surgery a few years ago but the nerve pain comes and goes. This thing is effective in helping control and stop my pain and discomfort from pinched nerves in my neck. I was surprised this works so well. I use it while I work from home to help my posture and just in the week or so I’ve been using it I’ve noticed a difference in my posture. The material is comfortable and doesn’t irritate my skin. I got the auto-inflate and it does well to inflate. The Velcro straps help keep it on my neck, even though the straps can get a little chokey on my throat it’s not a dealbreaker. I recommend getting the auto-inflated as the manual pump will make you hate the product. Make it easy for yourself.

While this device works, it just isn't the same as a traction device you would get at physical therapy. The caveat being the one at PT I am actively attempting to rip my head off with. So you could say I prefer it on the stronger side. I do get decent neck pain relief though, so I can't complain too loudly. It's fairly light weight. The motor is very helpful for inflating it, as I wouldn't want to be pumping all day. There is a built in fail safe to keep you from over inflating it on yourself. It's also nice that, should I ever want to, I can deflate this entirely using the air valve to store it. I use it enough though that I don't bother, and just deflate it enough to remove it, for faster set up next time. Depending on the day, sometimes I get decent inflation on it. Sometimes I don't feel like I get enough. I feel like this is more of a me getting the proper placement and tightness of the neck straps problem, than the actual products fault. If you wiggle around a bit, you can actually get some more inflation into it. I feel makes it work better for me, and lessens the pain more when I can get it inflated to my taste. Drawbacks - I hate the velcro. To be fair, the velcro is strong and has a tight hold. When you have this on however, the part that isn't covered WILL get in contact with your neck, and it is VERY scratchy. I need to find a way to cover it better to prevent this from happening. This particular design flaw is the most annoying thing ever frankly. The material it is made of itself is a velvet like texture, which I am ok with. Price wise, for what it is, and what it does, it is an ok price point. I wouldn't purchase this expecting miracles. I do get some pain relief from it though, so I would say it has enough merit to try it out if you are in the market.
