Modern White Pendant Light Shade Ceiling Clear Glass Lamp Industrial Vintage (112 White)

It took 4 deliveries to get 2 of these ceiling pendant lamps that hung straight. I really like them but they were a lot of hazzle. Poor quality control meant the lamp holder holes could be off centre producing the wonky slant. If you have a ring circuit you will have to modify the electrical connections inside the ceiling rose with the insertion of a replacement connection strip. There is no connection for an earth so you have to add a seperate connection for that. If you have 2way switching mulitply the problem. The black flex can fray on cutting if you need to shorten it so that also needs a fix. Then all the fussing means the lamp shade ends up needing a clean. Allow a chunk of time if like me you have more than one to install. However once all problems were sorted I must say they do look splendid in my hall and upper landing. I tested a long led amber warm light bulb but did not like the look or light quality. Settled for a normal shaped cool light and then end result looks classy, different, modern and all at a very attractive price. Its the problems that caused my 3 stars, not the end finish. The end product look and function are worth 5 stars.

I agonised over light fittings for my living room - really wanting ones that cost over £150 each but knowing I couldn't justify the expenditure. Settled on these after so much looking and am so glad I did. They look so good in the space. The tinting in the glass makes the lights so warm in the room and everyone comments they look much more expensive than they were. 100% recommend.

Really nice lamp, very quick delivery

Very poor quality. The glass part of the shade is speckled and scratched. It looks awful. I have requested a return for both of the light fittings which I purchased.

The design is eye catching, modern and reasonably priced.

Smaller than expected

Great - very 1930s diner!
