I purchased a townhome in November 2024 and immediately had pipe issues. Washing machine flooded into my half bath after emptying the wash barrel. Toilets backed up on another occasion. Sink backed up. Master bathroom tub would not drain. Black sludge came out of the master bathtub faucet. It was a mess and a very emotional since I had spent two months trying to obtain the property. I had buyer's remorse. I got 2 quotes from 2 companies stating I needed to do a complete pipe re-do. No lie... one was $15,600 and the other was $8,400. This did not include the new title I would have to get after they tore up my current tile. This did not include the moving out expense. This did not include the clean up. AND, these were only QUOTES. They were literally going to tunnel under my home to repair all the pipes. My boyfriend suggested I buy this camera and he would do his investigation. It is now May 2025. I do have to give credit to the first company. They used their "snake" to clear whatever was blocking the water flow. We check the pipes with the camera every month. NOTHING IS WRONG WITH MY PIPES! The view on the screen is crystal clear, the hose is easy to maneuver through the pipes, and the hose coils back for easy storage. I hope this review helps anyone who might have been told they need a full tunneling. Spend the money for this first and then go from there.

Good simple drain camera dosnt have a auto level in the camera but hey you get what you pay for. Camera quality is good, easy to use very simple. That said the screen is cheaply made but again yout get what you pay for. Product works well lights on camera work well. The raisers for the camera are a little sketchy as they are plastic and use plastic lock screws but so long as you have even pressure around camera it stays pretty secure. All in all good drain camera for average joe or just starting out in plumbing just check your rubber gaskets and change them when they rot to keep the camera water tight. Good Product for price. Good picture/video quality.

Small and very portable which makes hauling around very nice. Product works as expected and the image quality is very clear and good. Highly recommend!

This item broke after 2nd or 3rd use. The company spent time with me online and sent me different parts that did not help. Now i have bunch of parts for something that does not work. Dont spend your money look at other options

We've had problems with tree roots in our sewer line. I wanted to be able to assess the extent of the problem. This camera worked flawlessly. Clear picture, and easy to thread far down the line. Used it while hydro jetting the roots, I was able to monitor the results and precisely position the jet. Very happy with this purchase. Air duct inspection coming next... One note there is a 'Power' button on the front of the panel, but there is also a small on/off switch at the bottom. I forgot about that and thought it was not powering on. User error. Emailed Sanyipace support and got a prompt response, a good sign if there ever is a real issue down the road.

Great flexible camera for looking into and troubleshooting plumbing problems. Easy to use with excellent video. Plenty of options. You can't go wrong!

I have had this for just over 6months now and it worked very well to look into my dryer vent (and help me see/clear a partial blockage which can be a fire hazard) as well as view into each of my bathroom vent fan ducts. I replaced a toilet and used it to look into my sewer pipes that ran through the walls, down under the basement slab and out through the foundation into the sewer main line. I was impressed that I could reach over 50 feet including some pipe bends and joints. Attached are some photos and views into each set of dryer duct and sewer piping. I had some issues with the camera at one point and the support team was very thorough and helpful to get things operational again. Thank you Miki! It is not a cheap option for home care but turning out to be a great addition for water sewer pipes and vents.

I bought this Sanyipace Sewer Camera (30m) because I needed to get a handle on some perimeter drainage issues. I selected this model because of it's affordability and the features it offered. Delivery was on time and the email from the seller in advance of receiving the product was greatly appreciated. I've used the unit several times, and because I had it, I was able to help out our new neighbors troubleshoot some of their issues. The camera provides a great image and is very clear on the monitor. I want to add that I experienced a technical glitch at one point. I have to say I was blown away by the high level of customer service Sanyipace provides, especially Miki. Their quick attention to my issue was very encouraging and gave me continued confidence in the product. I want to focus on Miki's handling of my situation as it bears recognition. From the outset Miki's response was swift and she ensured she understood my issue completely, asking appropriate questions to aid Sanyipace's technical team in diagnosing the problem quickly. This is noteworthy as I have not experienced this with other customer service representatives. She truly understands the team approach. As we worked through the process to replace a component, Miki kept me informed throughout so I never had a question on what was taking place. After determining a part required replacement Miki arranged for immediate shipment which I received in very quick fashion. I wish that every customer service representative I ever have to deal with in the future is just like Miki. She was a pleasure to deal with. Thank-you Miki for creating a wonderful experience out of a troubling issue to me.

Paid for itself with one use: Plumber said drain needs to be replaced for $1000's. This sewer camera showed the blockage was only 6 feet in and could be cleared with a hand snake. I was able to do it myself, saving more than the cost of the camera. The only thing I dislike is that the video screen is very exposed and vulnerable to damage. It is mounted face up on the top of the unit, instead of inside the box where it would be protected. You have to put this back in the cardboard box before putting it in your trunk with a bunch of tools. Other than that it's great.

I was very happy with the build quality of this camera. For it's price it offers lots of capability and quality. I really like the smaller 17mm camera and the metal storage case is a nice touch. What really sold me on Sanyipace was the after warranty support especially providing parts. I looked at a few competing companies and they would not provide parts after the warranty ended which is absolutely terrible. One small suggestion for this camera would be putting distance marks on the cable but I am very happy with this unit. In addition to using it on pipes I also used it to inspect the timing belt on my car without having to disassemble the whole housing to do an inspection which was a real time saver. This sewer camera works amazing! The picture is extremely clear and has plenty of light to see exactly what’s going on in your sewer pipes. You can even see the glue on every joint. My house is slab on grade and I was having issues with my septic line. plugging. Thanks to this camera, I discovered the problem, which fortunately was outside of the house and not under my concrete. The sewer pipe had a dramatic sag in it between the footing and the Septic tank which we were able to Hydro vac and repair. knowing ahead of time what the problem was without having to call a plumber was worth every penny. The original camera head ended up getting some moisture behind the lens and fogging up, and the customer service was absolutely amazing. They immediately sent out a replacement camera head to cover the faulty part and it’s working perfectly again. I highly recommend this product and the company that stands behind it.
