The quality felt high, I recommend visiting the website as they show the appropriate tools required such as a jewellers block and heavy hammer. I Like the fact that once the product is closed together it is not apparent that it is necessarily a seed phrase. I also like the fact that there is no branding on any of the item. Should the item be found it leads to less chance of the phrases being used. Other similar products have mentioned the branding on it so it takes someone curious to just google search that brand to discover what they really have found etc. Titanium is a superior choice of metal as it can't rust compared to the risk of steel in this regard. I have since ordered more of this product and recommend it to others.

Great solution for crypto safety

You will need to buy your own stamps and punch in the words yourself. If you don't put the ColdTi on a block, you will bash the characters through to the other side of the metal - it might not be possible to read the words this way, but the dents it leaves are unsightly.

So it's titanium right? I bought two and they are completely different in appearance. On one the etchings are dug into the metal and if you run a finger nail over it u can feel it... but on the other it looks like someone drew the lines and numbers on with pen. Also, they are all scratched up to hell and back and the lines aren't even even but at an angle on one of them. I will return this item as defective. It takes a real special level of lack of quality control to have to return TITANIUM plates as bad quality and defective.. assuming these aren't knock-offs, the company should be ashamed of themselves for selling this crap!

Etching on these is a bit tough, but that’s the point! I’m very happy with them.

This thing works great. I bought a punch set, and let me tell you, it was a PAIN. I can confirm what other people have said, and using a punch set will dent and bend the plate. I went through about half of my words when I remembered that I had an engraver. Using the Engraver was MUCH MUCH easier and faster. Great product. Does what you need it to and is the best value out there compared to other cryptosteels. I will buy again when available, and recommend it to all my friends.

Hab mir nach einigem überlegen für die ColdTi Platte entschieden sehr gut verarbeitet erfüllt seinen Sinn, das Einstanzen ging auch sehr einfach, und jetzt ist die platte versiegelt und an einem geheimen Ort :) Gibts nicht wirklich viel dazu zu sagen, macht was es soll den Seed sicher aufbewahren. Ich bin zufrieden und kann die platte für alle die etwas mehr Kryptos besitzen nur empfehlen, den ist mal der seed weg war's das dann.

I'd recommend a 3mm-5mm punch set. Any larger and you'll have a hard time fitting the words in.
