Strength
Omg!!! These are not what I expected! Better!! These brushes are firm to grip and they are great to use on anything. The bristles are strong and the handle is grippable. Use with caution on stainless steel but anywhere else go for it!

Used to clean splines on the inside of a workpiece
I had a couple of parts that went onto splined shafts on a car project. These were great for cleaning dust and debris out of those. I like that the set has both stainless steel as well as brass bristled brushes. The variety of sizes is good for what I needed. The bristles are a bit stiff as other noted.

Quite stiff
Brushes are quite stiff. The shaft is robust and the bristles relatively short. It was too stiff and course for my need but might be good for another application.

didn't even need to use a tap/chaser
used these to clean out a couple unused bolt holes in my vehicle's 12 year old engine bay. they were corroded and filled with debris. a spray of rust release and then these cleared those threads right up. I didn't even need a tap/chaser. these don't fall apart but they are pretty sharp on the bristles

High quality but very stiff
These are high quality brushes. Very happy. I would note however they are very stiff because the stem is wound steel of significant thickness. With result they did not work for my purpose since I needed to be able to jam them through a hole and have them bend through all the bends and crevices bit these will not bend on that fashion. Best for straight pipe applications
