French Market Coffee & Chicory Dark Roast Ground Coffee, 12oz Can (Pack of 1)

I've really enjoyed this coffee. The combination of coffee and chicory gives it a rich, bold flavor that's a little different from standard coffee while still being smooth and easy to drink.Despite being a dark roast, I didn't find it overly bitter. It has a deep aroma when brewing and produces a full-bodied cup that's great in the morning or throughout the day.I especially appreciate the unique flavor that the chicory adds. It gives the coffee a slightly earthy, robust character that makes it stand out from many other brands.The grounds brewed well in my coffee maker, and the freshness was excellent right out of the can.Overall, this is a quality coffee with a classic coffee-and-chicory flavor. If you enjoy a bold cup of coffee with a little extra character, this one is definitely worth trying.

I really enjoy New Orleans style chicory coffee, this brand is great and not as overly expensive as the other famous yellow can brand. The taste is great, smoky, which I love. The coffee brews darker than your regular drip coffee

Best chicory coffee I’ve tried and much better compared to CDM. The dark roast isn’t too dark that it’s overpowering and the chicory evens it out I’d say. It taste fresh and not stale or burnt like some of the others do like CDM. I’ve tried the medium-dark roast as well but prefer the dark roast to that, it’s strong enough to wake me up but not too strong tasting that I need to drown it in fillers. I do wish the cans were bigger but I will continue to buy either way.

Good flavor and strength. I have the "Dark roast" option. I like my coffee dark, black, unsweetened. This has a well established undertone of chicory. Not strong, but it is there in the background. Probably best for those not looking for strong chicory yet want a bold cup of coffee with added baody (sans bitterness).I make this in a French press, and I need to use less that what I normally do with my coffee. Even then it is sometimes too strong. I dont often do creamer, but there are times that I use it to make this taste smoother--usually because I still made it too strong. I mean, I love my coffee ultra bold and strong, but sometimes too much coffee grounds to water ratio just makes it taste harsh. Need a balance.So overall I like it. Just a little tricky for me to get right. When I do, it makes a strong cup of dark coffee, with hint of nutty chicory. I like that the chicory gives the coffee body yet doesnt impart an tang or bitterness.For the price it is worth the try.

This is one of the best tasting coffees. I’ve tried in a while, and I have brought back coffees from other countries. It’s got a delicious flavor with the chicory in it and it’s so much more reasonable than café Dumond coffee.

Really good dark roast flavor. Not bitter. I don't feel the chicory altered the flavor that much. Less caffeine than a typical cup of coffee since it's a mix of ground coffee and chicory. Strong, inviting aroma as well. I'm going to try their 100% chicory version next as it has all the benefits of coffee without the caffeine.

Having been on specialty coffee for a while now, it doesn't scratch that itch. But it's nice sometimes with condensed milk to remind me of times in Vietnam.
