These hinges work great for wood windows. They are not handed so you don’t have to worry about buying a left-hand and right hand hinge. They will work on casement windows or awning windows. There is a tensioning screw For compensation of the weight of the awning window.

Can these be used on a hundred year old house with storm windows that are rotated with screens twice a year, double hook on top, secured on bottom?
