Pocket isn't stretchy, but expands
Got this for my mom, who likes to run alone in the city. This is literally the only running belt I've tried that fits her giant phone. The pocket itself isn't elasticated, but the fabric is folded so that it expands by quite a lot. She's able to fit a small pepper spray, her keys, and her phone in there.The alarm works, and is removable. I'm not really sure how effective of a deterrent it is, but in any case it offers a little peace of mind. I'd definitely recommend test it out once a week or so just to make sure the batteries don't need to be replaced.

Defect
I am really disappointed in this. I purchased this in August to prepare for seasonal running when it gets dark by 4:30 or 5:00. Pulled it out early November and, sadly, the pin won't release, and, therefore, the alarm does not work. I contacted the company to no avail. If you just want a fanny pack to hold your stuff, there are many on the market. But if you want the alarm as I did, the product is useless if it fails to operate. It is also disappointing to receive no communication from the company.

I rarely write reviews, but wanted to share my positive experience as this is one of the best purchases I have made in the past few months. I run/jog few times a week, and by having this belt gives me the extra sense of security I missed before. The belt's loud alarm seem to be very effective to get other people attention to me if needed.The belt is very comfortable and have the perfect space to put my personal stuff. I really like the design and the overall product quality seem high quality which lots of thinking about every small detail.Highly recommend to anyone like me who is doing sports outside the house and wants to feel more safe !Liz

Terrify Attackers and Carry Stuff in Comfort
This fanny pack is great, but the real value of this product is in the alarm. That said, mine arrived with a dead battery (frustrating!). The alarm pin was extended in the "on" position - it probably drove my delivery person nuts. I mention this out of pity, but also to emphasize that DEAR GOD this thing is loud - and that's a good thing (well, for everyone except my delivery driver and prospective kidnappers).It's a bummer that my alarm arrived with a dead battery, but this too illustrates a great product feature. The pin is EASY to pull. You won't be fumbling with this thing in a moment of terror - pull the ring on the pin and BOOM, your attacker flees in terror clutching his ears.The bag itself is decent too. It's slim, but it expands considerably. I can stash my massive phone, id/cards, and huge wad of keys in here, no problem. If you're cheap like me and still use corded earbuds, you'll appreciate that this bag has a hole for headphone wires. The bag is extraordinarily adjustable, too. I suppose nothing is truly 'one size fits all', but this bag will certainly fit the vast majority. I used this bag A LOT this summer - I hiked or kayaked most days. It still looks brand new, no wear whatsoever. I expect this fanny pack to last for years to come.On the off chance yours arrives with a dead battery, whisper a prayer for your delivery driver and then purchase an A23 12V battery.Bottom line, this bag is a steal - I highly recommend it!

Buckle is almost impossible to close and open
Belt and alarm are relatively good so no complaints. The problem is the plastic buckle is very very difficult to insert (snap) and to remove. I'm fairly strong and I found this hard to snap closed and virtually impossible to open. Actually thought about using a pliers to unsnap it. This is way overkill for what is needed and the design has extra springs that are unique to this product. Since I purchased this for my wife who is NOT a weak woman she actually needed my help to use this, which is impractical. I'd like to see if that thin woman in the picture for the product can open to buckle - I'd bet not.

It stretches
I got a large and wasn't sure if that would be big enough but it was. A small was probably big enough for me. The belt is elastic so you can get one several inches shorter than your waist size and it would fit. My phone is a Moto Z and it fit fine. It is tight like you want it to be but no problem zipping it up. Room for keys but I would be nervous they would scratch my phone since they are in the same (only) compartment. Maybe if you put the keys in a little bag then put them in the pouch it would be fine. I'm too afraid to pull the alarm pin.

My wife is a sport addict doing her jogging few times a week in our neighborhood. She was very curious seeing this belt with the personal alarm on it and we bought it.We got it about a week ago, and it seems great! The alarm is loud. She could also pull it in no time. The belt itself is flexible, the pocket is big enough, and my wife definitely loves the idea of the extra caution which make her feel better in the dark, and delivered with a good price...We did good!

Great for safety and convenience!
This is such a great product! As a woman who likes to run in the early morning, this belt is perfect for all my needs--the body alarm is well placed and gives me peace of mind against wild animals and creeps. There's just enough room inside for my keys, phone and pepper spray, which I added as another safety measure. A nice added feature is the hole on top of the belt pack to feed your headphone cord through. The belt and pack fit close to the body and are very comfortable for running or walking. I highly recommend!
