I’ve been using the L’Oréal Elvive Growth Booster for a few weeks now and the first thing I noticed is the scent. It smells absolutely amazing. It has that fresh, salon-like fragrance without being overpowering, and it leaves the hair smelling clean and luxurious. The applicator nozzle makes it easy to apply directly onto the scalp without making a mess. The serum itself is lightweight and absorbs quickly. It doesn’t leave my roots greasy or weighed down, which is important if you’re applying it regularly. It feels slightly cooling when massaged in, which makes it quite pleasant to use as part of a routine. I like to gently massage it into the scalp for a couple of minutes to help distribute it evenly. In terms of hair fall, it’s still early to make dramatic claims, but my hair feels stronger at the roots and looks healthy overall. Long Fine Hair - I’m on my 3rd bottle of this and going into my 4th. Persistence is key, I use this every day Monday- Friday with 2 days rest. I use after washing my hair on hair wash days. My hair is definitely thicker than it was. My sparse patches at the front of my hairline have improved and I’ll continue to use this forever. I used this product before any of the others below and did start to see results after the 2nd bottle - 6 weeks. I use this alongside the growplex shampoo and conditioner - every other day. I oil my scalp and ends once / twice per week with the bur bur growing season hair oil. I use kerastase gloss heat protectant spray and L’Oréal no split ends serum let my hair air dry as much as I can and then dry on the cool setting. I only brush my hair when it’s 90% dry to help with breakage and use a boar bristle brush. I finish with the kerastase hair oil. I mask once per week with the amika bond repair, wella smooth ends or the fino hair mask. I always braid my hair before sleeping / use silk pillows and the overall condition of my hair has improved within the last two months. I wanted to wait to give the products a chance to work and it has paid off. I also use a biotin and zinc supplement each day. I eat lots of protein in each meal to ensure I’m giving my hair everything it needs. Note if you have pets please wash your hands after using the serum and if your hair is wet from the product keep away from pets.

It's too soon to tell whether it will work or not, but l find it leaves my hair crispy. It's impossible to use without it touching your hair. That for me is a problem

I can’t tell you if this serum works because I can’t use it. It’s absolutely impossible to put on your scalp without getting in your hair, and then your hair looks and feels sticky and unwashed. I’m just glad it wasn’t expensive. It might work for people with different hair types, but for me with short fine hair, it’s a no.

I used this product before and I noticed fast hair regrowth, thicker hair strands, and comfort on the scalp, and less hair in the comb. I now do a density hair care routine which took a few weeks to get the results I got with this in around 10 days. But I wasn't sure why the result seemed to fade when I discontinued this product so I continued with the slower products. But I decided to come back to this as a top up because I know it's effective and just to strengthen my other results.

I’m giving this four stars because although I love this serum I don't see any growth yet. I love this serum - perhaps for other reasons than most - as I struggle with seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp which means I get some flakes and a smelly scalp (gross, I know) and this serum is the only thing I’ve found that makes my scalp smell fresh and seems to treat the yeast. This is due to the piroctone olamine in the ingredients. I’ve used one full bottle on my scalp now and I’m planning on continuing use but unfortunately I don’t notice any new growth or thickening of hair yet. The product does leave a residue and it’s impossible to avoid this, I also don’t understand how some reviews have claimed they saw growth results within the first use (how is that possible?) the only thing I can think is that the residue leaves a thickening effect because it’s almost sticky in your hair, creating some ‘lift’ to the roots. It works better on just washed hair that you then blow dry, and also works best on dry hair using a blow dryer on a cool setting afterwards to reduce the residue though it will always be there. Overall I’ll keep using as it works to treat my scalp Seb derm and I’m hoping to see some growth results.

100% love this product, im on week 4 can see and feel the difference, I apply to scalp every morning then brush through. Takes few pins to completely dry but doesn't have a tacky greasy texture

Don’t expect immediate results with this product. I only started noticing a difference after finishing my third bottle. I am 15 months postpartum and wash my hair every second or third day. After washing, I apply the product directly to my scalp and massage it in. Now, when I wash my hair, I notice significantly less hair fallout. What I also like is that it doesn’t leave my hair feeling greasy, sticky, or crispy like some other scalp treatments can. It absorbs well and doesn’t make my hair look or feel weighed down. It’s important to note that this product is not designed to regrow hair. Instead, it helps keep hair in the growth phase for longer, rather than allowing it to fall out as part of the normal hair cycle. With that in mind, I feel it does what it claims to do. The only downside is that it requires consistent and frequent use, so you go through each bottle fairly quickly. I usually stock up when it’s half price to make it more affordable.

Seems to work okay? Only used it for a few days and hair fall did reduce. But be aware since the main ingredient is in the same family as minoxidil, may be toxic to cats.

Really effective... Finally noticed it when I met my partner after month of using it, hardly found any hair on bed..otherwise, I always felt embarrassed when there is lot of hair all around on bedsheet....other than tht .best price...already bought 4 in advance,so easy to apply...even it make your hair crunchy.but once you comb it after getting dry...it would be good to go...I ordered restore laser cap...hopefully both will work better together...finger crossed

Was sceptical at first as I've tried a fair few different things which had zero effect, from expensive growth promoting shampoo and conditioners, to serums and tonics etc and nothing helped. I've waited 2 months to write this review so I can be sure and can now confirm that it has definitely worked. Very well. I'm almost 44 years old and my hair over the last 5 or so years had been getting noticeably thinner and thinner. I was at the stage of preparing to book myself in to a hair specialist to potentially get a hair transplants or see other options but I feel as I genuinely don't need to do that anymore. My hair is noticeably fuller, softer, manageable and with munch less hair fall. I used to be able to see my scalp a little bit too much as my hair was thinning pretty badly but now it seems to have reversed and I don't see nearly as much visible scalp anymore and I can also feel the thickness when I touch my hair so that's a fantastic result which I'm extremely happy with. Especially for the cost of this amazing product. So yes, I highly recommend it and I've just purchased another 2 more bottles. VERY Happy customer.
