Flange inserts that are your size are key in successful, comfortable pumping sessions. As always, do your research to find your correct size. The 19mm size was what I needed and they are a sturdy silicone type material that fit just right in the flange. They do not slip, they did not cause any loss in suction. They worked just as intended. Over many washes, these inserts did not warp or tear in any way.

Works. It fits into 24mm flange parts, fits comfortably for me. The only thing I'd say is that it makes the window where the milk comes out harder to see bc its more opaque, but it does the job.

There's a reason there's so many conflicting reviews about whether these otherwise nice flange inserts fit in various flanges -- they are varying diameters. I ordered both the 17mm and 19mm inserts. The 19mm fits into my 24mm Motif Luna flanges (it's tight but they fit), while the 17mm are too wide can only fit in the 28mm Motif Luna flanges despite being advertised as both fitting in the Spectra, Medela 24mm (Motif Luna are supposedly the same diameter at the Spectra). If you're lucky enough for the inserts to fit the flanges you have on hand, they do work well and are reasonably comfortable and easy to use. Just seems to be a bit of a dice roll whether they will fit or not.

Before buying I read a lot of review and cautioned to try. I too can relate because my size is smaller and I thought I'd give it a shot. I used these with my Medela Sonata 24mm for about 2-3weeks pumping 2-3 times a day while at work. I work full time 5days a week and my little one will be 1yrs old next month. At 1st they were phenomenal! I didn't have a problem with milk getting lodged between the cups. Insert was easy in and out for cleaning. I would clean my parts after each use and air dry. As the days went on after week 1, I saw a decline in my outlet on pump 2 & 3. I stopped using these and pumping altogether for a few days because I got blisters and my nipples were ripped on the bottom. It was very painful to breastfeed my little one with the bruises and my supply suffered as well. Needless to say, I will not be using these anymore.

These fit my spectra flange and helps me get the right fit for my nipple size. No more chapped and painful sessions.

Una de las cosas que pocas mamás saben, es que las bridas, normalmente de 24 mm, no son adecuadas para todas la mujeres. Muchas veces el orificio de la brida es más grande que el pezón, provocando que la succión de sacaleche sea molesta e incluso dolorosa. En el caso de mi esposa encontró mucho más comoda la extracción de leche. Recomiendo que revisen información adicional en internet para encontrar la brida adecuada. Esta es una excelente opción para reducir el tamaño de la Brida de 24 mm, en nuestro caso de Spectra.
