The first thing about this flash, is the USB is extremely, like really extremely tight to get into a port. This on multiple computers and adapters. It really has to be pushed hard in. On my Mac Air (older, with USB ports), I could get this drive into only one of the ports, and it just never seemed to loosen up. This brings me to the second problem, which was also noted by other reviews: the design for connecting of the drive to the key ring/hosing is quite bad. Often when I tried to get the drive out of the USB port, the entire hosing (the outer key ring part) would just come apart, leaving the actual drive in the computer port, with not a lot of area to be able to grab ahold of the drive to get it out. The swivel connection loosened over time. The third problem with this drive I encountered, is that some files became corrupted when copied to the drive to transfer to another computer.

I bought this to be able to move and secure files from various devices, minus the cloud. I expected the drive to have its own driver pre installed, which it does not. Your required to download a questionable app which has a very low user review rating. As a Professional Penetration Security Specialist, trusting your confidentiality to a questionable Middleman is something I will take a pass on. Returning it for something without backdoors.

Easy and convenient to use. Just download app as directed and done.

I normally do not write reviews but I take a lot of photos of my kids and need a way to store my pictures. Since I have received the product, it has only been able to download half of the videos on my phones and it is missing a lot of my most recent photos that I took on my iphone. It has download all my old photos but my new photos are not save at all.
