A little goes a long way. Great way to add heat without changing the flavor profile too much. First came across this in the early 90s and technically have never "run out"; I've misplaced, broken, or didn't pack bottles when moving, but not "run out". Dip in a cheap chopstick and use that to stir what you wish to spice up!

I'm convinced anyone that does not find this hot isn't normal. At all. That disclaimer aside, I enjoy this sauce. It Is strong and not as flavored as a few others ; basically the heat signals your taste buds and sanity to retreat. I mix it with several foods like soup or rice or other dipping sauces. Really it's your choice. One bottle should last , you will not use a lot in one sitting. Or at least you shouldn't ; you'll regret it later. IYKWIM.

“Atomic!” Promised my newly purchased bottle of hot sauce. “Explosively Hot!” “Radioactive!” I barely flinched. Sure, this stuff was no Cholula, but I was expecting the full Chernobyl experience. I was prepared for my stomach to be glowing in a vibrant green hue as promised on the packaging. After penning a letter of complaint to the makers of this ‘hot’ sauce and attaching a photograph of my regular boring pink stomach area as proof of their false advertising, I turned to Amazon in the search for something that lived up to its billing. After a few clicks I found a link to Dave’s Ultimate Insanity Sauce. Let me back up a second to give some perspective here. My wife tried the aforementioned ‘Atomic’ sauce and turned bright red. My four year old ran to the bathroom in tears, and my six month old son wouldn’t stop crying for hours after I mixed it with his milk. Supposedly I have a high tolerance for heat. Anyhow, upon receiving my new Insanity sauce I poured out a teaspoon for myself in order to determine the right level to give my young children, ensuring I did not cross the line from character building to all out abuse. Big mistake. This stuff lives up to its billing. It’s hot, it’s insane. It’s not just mouth hot, it’s entire body consuming. Every appendage was tingling, my toes were sweating, my heartless wife laughed and took a video on her iphone. This stuff is the real deal. Take it from a real hot sauce lover. I do use this stuff as a dip for things like pizza, but we are talking a tiny dip for big flavor. Is great mixed into chili and other sauce-based food. It actually has great, smoky flavor that adds to a dish. Great stuff.

Very, very hot. Adding a little to a dish is enough to provide a very pleasing spice level without overwhelming the other flavors. It is pretty easy to overdo it though. I can eat Buffalo Wild Wings Blazing served wet (extra sauce), without any major discomfort, as a benchmark. Overdoing this hot sauce by maybe an eighth of a teaspoon was enough to cause me to throw the food out half way through and induce some (ineffective) panicked attempts to douse the burning with milk and half and half. I continue to use this in increasing amounts and it is becoming more and more tolerable (while everything less hot seems more and more mild). The taste isn’t great (it is based on pepper extract) but I will definitely buy it again.

Hottest hot sauce! Great in soups, ramen. Just a couple drops. We have ruined tacos when we are out of less spicy hot sauce. Highly recommend if you like spicy.

My favorite hot sauce, this is my go to hot sauce for years, I love super hot foods and most times I get disappointed with most hot sauces not spicy enough but they might be hot but has no flavor just hot , but this sauce has great flavor and super hot , I mean one drop in a pot of pasta sauce brings out great flavor and makes it spicy hot, I use a drop of this in BBQ sauces to make ribs I tell you it’s the best flavor ribs ever, so if you like hot and spicy with flavor this hot sauce is the one , it’s very versatile to cook with
