I have multiple chemical, dye and fabric sensitivities and this didn't bother me at all!
This blanket washed very nicely. The colors didn't bleed, and there was no shrinking or raveling. I put it in the dryer on normal heat. I have contact reactions and chemical sensitivities, and was very happy that the fabric and dyes did not bother me at all. It is very hard to find fabrics that don't bother me, so it was a relief when I opened the package and the blanket didn't bother me. It is a nice weight- a bit thicker than peshtemal beach towels I bought, but not bulky. Since I have three little boys, there's a lot of gear to schlep back and forth to the pool or beach so I don't want anything that weighs a lot or is too bulky. Plus, it doesn't take long to dry or take up the whole washing machine. The color is as pictured and the blanket looks elegant enough to use as a throw.

My "Go To" Favorite Blanket
I have 2 of these blankets in light blue. The second one is for backup. I use them on my bed for those nights when a sheet is not enough but a regular blanket is too much! These are lightweight but oh so cozy. Just right!
