Ultra fine isn’t really ultra fine
The ultra fine isn’t as ultra fine as I like. This startled clogging after a week of use. Looking tat a bright light I can see particles trapped. The clogs can’t be washed out either so it’s only time when all the holes are plugged.

Great mesh filter for Aeropress. Only thing I use now!
So far I've purchased the Corretto filter pack (mesh, fine, ultra-fine) and a Prismo but the only thing I'm using at the moment is the mesh filter by Corretto. To use the mesh filter you have to go inverted but that's fine with me. I grind my own beans and have found that I get very little extra in the cup with the mesh filter and all the flavor and oils that I want out of a full bodied cup. It's easy to clean and has held up pretty well. I ended up buying a 2nd one for my work aeropress because I preferred the flavor over Prismo.

run don't walk - replace your paper filters
and it's great for your mindfulness practice. do NOT throw this in the trash with your grinds for your first week or so of neurological rewiring if you've been a paper user.(practice loving-kindness. when you dump your grind-brick in the trash & realize your filter is still stuck to it....forgive yourself, you're worth it

Great for turning your Aero Press into a tincture press!
I picked up this mesh filter specifically for using when I press homemade herbal tinctures using my Aero Press. The paper filter's provided with the press may not be durable enough to handle the roughness of some of the herbs I press (particularly medicinal mushrooms and shredded roots), and the paper may also absorb some of the oils, this metal fine screen filter works perfectly. The density of the mesh also created the most thoroughly filtered tinctures I've ever produced, so I am very happy with this product! :0)

arrived in non-pristine condition
I like this (the ultra-fine) filter - I bought a replacement for the 3-pack after I inadvertently threw mine out with some used coffee grounds (Don't make my mistake!) But the one I received has all sorts of scratches and a wide mark that looks like removed tape - I can't tell if this is a return or just packaged roughly. Also, per a previous reviewer, it did seem like the ring "shrunk" or somehow changed over time so it didn't fit snugly in the cap., but that didn't cause a problem brewing. But-for the odd appearance I'd rank this at least a 4.

Not Ultra Fine - If you Ask Me
This is a quality built product - as good as it gets. The only complaint I have is that "Ultra Fine" is a significant overstatement - at according to my expectations. The water poor out of it very quickly and you end up with coffee grinds in your cup. Overall, it's a useless product for me - I'm back to paper filters and fine steel mesh filters.

Easy to use and clean.
Much better than the screen mesh filter I had before. I have the fine filter and the coffee is good but lacks some of the flavors that I was used to from a traditional French press.

Works great with our aeropress.
Works and doesn't let the water out too quickly like less quality metal filter products. The holes are small enough for it to be almost equivalent to a paper one.

Only buy if you plan to use inversion method
Water runs straight through this product to you have to do inversion brew which the listing didn't say. Not impressed as I worry about burning myself doing invert brewing. I might try the ultra fine and see if that helps.

Doesn't work at all gone back to paper
Extremely disappointed in this. Although it says it's designed for Aeropress it didn't fit properly (gaps at the sides) also the coffee drips straight through so doesn't brew at all.Complete waste of money I've gone back to the paper filters

Nice filter; it does the job...
I've had this filter for about 3 months now; I really wanted to give it a solid test since it's related to coffee. It's nice and tight and doesn't leak at all which is great. The flavour didn't taste the same as the paper filters and I prefer the taste from the paper filters over this filter which is why the deduction in a star. Paper is just my preference it seems.Overall I'm happy with this product. I know no longer have to purchase paper filters which in the long run should help the environment.

Works as intended
Perfect for a reusable filter. Fine enough that no grounds/grind powder is present in the bottom of your cup. You also do not lose any oils when pressing like you do to paper filters!Cleanup just requires a butter knife scrape of grounds into the garbage and a rub with your thumb/fingers under running water to restore to new

not bad
This filter works quite well. It doesn't leak round the edges and it's easy to clean (I use a fine grind). The only down side, albeit relatively insignificant, is that I find it produces a slightly sharper edge to the taste compared to the paper filters (which tend to be a bit more balanced). That may be a function of the beans I use (Italian espresso with a sweet finish). Nonetherless, it makes a nice cup and of course you never run out of filters.
