I'm a student pilot looking for a headset. Are you still able to hear the stall warning with the noise canceling activated? Thanks.

It's funny you ask, I was worried about that too. I can hear the stall horn when it goes off, and I can hear slight changes in engine noise. Overall fantastic headset. I would buy it again tomorrow if it deemed necessary.

Anyone know how these fit and work over hearing aids?

It depends on the size of the hearing aids. The headset is made to fit over the ears, but not much more.

Does it have a switch for mono and stereo?

Yes, there is a mono/stereo switch inside the battery compartment.

Is it compatible with helicopter plugs?

For this model, you will need a helicopter adapter. GA plugs to U174.
