The clip part definitely has a quality feel in regards to holding a grip of the shoe strings which makes sure the shoe strings dont move. The grip is so good that when I had to put the shoe string in the holes of the clip I had to use full strength just to keep it open. In the end it is well worth as I know I will have shoes I no longer need to tie up.

Good improvement to an already great product. The locking spring is heavier to prevent any slit in the laces. I put them on all my trail and OCR shoes.

Way better than typical speed laces. They are threaded from bottom up like regular shoe laces. Easy to adjust. I use them triathlon

If you are a senior or a kid with poor dexterity this will not work out, the spring bounces off so be careful putting it together, bought it for my autistic kid who can't tie her shoes but even I am having a hard time pushing it down to adjust it. Shoe lace that accompany it seem strong enough . Wish it was more easier for kids to use too
