Ok. I love these so much. I used to live in NM and one of my absolute favorite things about it is how it smelled in the fall. You just can't find that anywhere else!! Since I moved, I have tried to find a way to get that smell - I succeeded by finding split pinon logs at my local hardware store, but I have a fireplace insert which means I would only get to use them when I have an outdoor fire. That's not very often! These incense bricks are the PERFECT solution! I put them in a mini chimenia-type vessel and burn them for a little while. It's so easy to use and I'm so happy to get that smell back! I think the amount of smoke and burn time is on par with what I would expect from any incense brick.

I can’t fully put into words how much I love this incense. The moment I light it, I’m instantly transported back to my childhood in New Mexico—cold winter nights, fireplaces burning, and that unmistakable piñon scent drifting through the air. The fragrance is rich, natural, and deeply nostalgic. It smells like real piñon wood, not an artificial or perfumed version. That said, it is a strong scent. I personally enjoy burning a whole brick at a time, but anyone sensitive to strong smells may want to start with a smaller portion or be mindful of ventilation. This is absolutely going to be a permanent reorder for me, and I’m excited to try the other incense from this brand as well. If you love authentic Southwestern scents and don’t mind a bold aroma, this one really delivers.

This is exactly what I was looking for. My husband loves the scent when we are outside in our pool deck. Wonderful healing scent. It was perfect. We will be buying more. Price was good. Delivery was fast.

the smell of a wood smoke southwestern campfire has always resonated with me as a subtle memory of youthful years in nature. It is especially appreciated on a cool misty morning wafting on the patio into my apt. a reminder of a life elsewhere. FYI the use may introduce particulate airborne elements into a small abode. But that is true with any incense use in a small apt. I have pruchased these before and never been disappointed.

I am a huge Incense of the West fan. I've been using this product for years and have 4 or 5 different incense burners sitting around the house. It pains me not to give these bricks 5 stars because they smell so wonderful. But alas, I fear the popularity of this brand has grown exponentially in the last couple of years and as such perhaps the formula or production methods have changed. The bricks do seem a tad smaller and most importantly and most frustratingly they hardly ever burn all the way down anymore! I spend several minutes ensuring each brick is well lit as per the instructions before inserting into the burner, but even still they rarely burn all the way through. It's a waste of half a brick as it's pretty difficult to get them going again when they're tiny half inch stubs. I'll continue to buy this product because it smells wonderful and I want to continue to support the company. I just hope the formula gets fixed!

Absolutely wonderful scent to have it in your home. Little hard to lite, but so worth it. I have been burning this scent for probably 30+ yrs. You won’t be disappointed. I was thrilled to find it here on Amazon. Quality is outstanding and you know it’s natural because it leaves a resin like substance.

Quick delivery. I like that the bricks are in a resealable plastic bag as opposed to a single-use one. The scent is very pleasant, sweet, warm, and woodsy. The bricks will not work well in an incense burner for cones since they are taller than a cone. They don't burn for a very long time, but the smell lingers on without being too overpowering.

Smells great! Few if any broken ones. Very satisfied.
