This was suggested to me by doctor and I have been using it for 2-3 years now. It’s bit dry cream texture and may leave white finish for sometime on the face but it’s an effective sunscreen atleast for dry skin

I have been using old version of Acne UV Gel SPF 50 by Ipca Laboratories for the past 7 years and it was one of my favorite dermatologist-recommended sunscreens. It was smooth, lightweight, matte, and blended perfectly. The new version is completely different and very disappointing. It has grainy particles, does not blend properly, and leaves a patchy, sticky white layer on the skin. No matter how much I try to spread it, it just sits unevenly on the face. This change has ruined a previously excellent product. Very disappointed with the reformulation and there is no return option either. Totally waste of money.

It was very good for sensitive skin. Recently they might have changed the formulation. Earlier it gave matt effect, now it feels a bit oily.

How do I get old one

One of the best sunscreens. Was soo good that it helped clear my acne soo well. Was in love with this product. Considered it as an investment for good skin due to its high cost. But now they brought the new packaging and along with that they have reformulated the sunscreen. Now it sucks. Really money down the drain. Does not evenly spread, bland with makeup nothing. Absolute waste. Please bring back the old formulation.

I’ve been using this sunscreen for quite some time and it used to be one of my favorites, but unfortunately, the recent formula change has significantly worsened the product. The older version applied smoothly, absorbed well, and provided reliable sun protection without irritating my skin. Since the reformulation, the texture feels heavier and greasier, and it no longer blends as easily. More importantly, its effectiveness seems to have decreased. I’ve noticed increased tanning and mild sunburn despite using it the same way as before, which never happened with the original formula. I dnt prefer it to the people purchasing recently
