Started using this alongside our regular chlorine routine after reading that alternating in an oxidizer treatment helps break down bather waste without dumping extra chlorine into the water every single time. Wanted something we could use more frequently without the strong smell building up between full shock days. Works well as advertised, water stays clear and doesn't get that dingy feel after a few soaks in a row, oxidizes whatever's built up without needing to wait as long before getting back in like we do after a full chlorine shock. Barely any smell at all using this one, spa area doesn't have that chemical hit you sometimes get walking by right after treating it. 7lb size has stretched further then I expected given how often we use it, probably a couple months in already at roughly weekly dosing between our chlorine shocks. Mixes in easy too, no clumping or undissolved granules sitting on the bottom after adding it in like a lesser product might do. Cost per treatment works out reasonable given how much less frequently we need the harsher chlorine shock now that we're rotating this in, so it's actually saved us money on chlorine over the season while keeping the water in better shape. Only complaint is the container doesn't reseal super tight, had to transfer it to a different sealed bin to keep humidity out in our spa shed. Good product for anyone wanting to cut down on how often they need a full chlorine shock. 7lbs is a good amount.

This product is absolutely amazing. It is super easy to use, you just saw the directions and it works perfectly. You get quite a lot for the money so it lasts for quite a long time, and I love it!!
