My rat terrier has never cared much about food, so I was worried she wasn’t getting the nutrition she needed. Our diabetic golden retriever has done great for years on the Healthy Weight version of this same brand, so I tried this one for its higher protein content — and she actually likes it! The ingredients are clean and high quality, and both dogs have had easy digestion and shiny coats. I’ve paid double for prescription and “boutique” brands that didn’t perform any better, so this is an incredible value for the money. We’ve even done taste tests with three dogs — they all choose Nutro first. Our golden lived a long, healthy life with diabetes on Nutro, our dachshund hiked until nearly twenty, and our terrier is thriving on it now. I really trust this brand for both health and value.

The kibble game is no joke. I honestly don’t think I’ve spent as much time reading ingredient labels for my own kid’s meals as I have for my dog’s food. My Havanese is an extremely picky eater, and we’ve gone through brand after brand trying to find something he’ll consistently eat. I haven't tasted this myself (lol) but my two dachshunds love it so it must be darn good. Thank you for a great product.

I have an 11 pound terrier mix and the kibble size is perfect for her small mouth. She seems to have allergies to many other foods, but she is able to digest this food without any trouble. Not too long ago, I switched her to a different food, but have returned to Nutro because I feel it is the best food for her. I have this food as a subscription through Amazon and have been happy with the delivery process. However, the last delivery was not the small breed as subscribed. They sent the toy breed food instead. I didn’t notice until the bag was already cut open, so we kept it and she has now eaten all of it. My next delivery is tomorrow and I am hoping it is the correct size food. The pictures are of the small breed kibble size.
