FUKUMARU Elevated Cat Ceramic Bowls, Small Dog Raised Food Feeding Dishes, Solid Wood Water Stand Feeder Set for Cats and Puppy

I have a dachshund mix (about 18–19 lbs) with long ears, and these small bowls are perfect for him because his ears stay out of the bowl while he’s eating. The bowls I used before were larger, and his ears would fall into the food, with food getting stuck on the tips. At first, I thought these bowls might be a little too small, but they’re actually the perfect size for a full meal portion. I really like that they help keep my dog’s ears clean while he eats.

I bought a similar elevated set for my elderly dog last year. I like this cat version even better, for one big reason: my small Corelle bowls also fit into it, so I do not have to stop and wash a dish when both are dirty as I do with the dog version. (See pictures; Corelle bowl substituted on the right.) The included ceramic bowls are smooth, heavy duty and easy to clean by hand or better yet put in the dishwasher. I use a damp wash rag or paper towel to wipe off the wooden stand when a little food gets on it. Most of my cats took to this immediately, and the recalcitrant one is starting to realize I am not using the old bowls anymore. (Bamboo, HAD to be hand washed. Enough said.) A lttle redirection works for her. I have a gravity water feeder next to this, so I keep dry food on one side and put wet food in the other. I like it enough that I am going to buy a second one for the other room where the cats also eat. (Big house; multiple cats.) My kitties vary in age from 3 to 12, but they all seem more comfortable eating out of the raised bowls than hunched over. I have read that it is better for their digestions as well, so that is a plus.

I use this for my small dog and its perfect size and height. It’s great looking, matches my wood floors and easy clean, heavy duty ceramic bowls. BUT!…the directions say “don’t get the wood wet” ??? It’s a water bowl holder!!! Not sure how long before it splits like others have stated? I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the warning.

Very good food doesn’t stick to them

These ceramic bowls are really heavy and stay put when my cats eat out of them even if they are on the floor and not in the stand. They work great either way. They are pretty deep though so not all cats may like to eat out of them since they don't like their whiskers to touch the sides. Mine don't seem to mind though but I think they should consider making these about 1 inch more shallow for cats. They hold a lot of food too, would probably be good for small and maybe medium sized dogs as well. The stand goes together quickly and easily and is nice and sturdy. Doesn't tip or move when they use it. Looks nice and modern too.

Our four month old puppy loves this feeding station! She’s too tiny for the elevated feeder we have for our older dog, and the plastic dish we bought for her to temporarily use kept sliding all over the floor, spilling food and water. This elevated feeder for cats and small dogs is easy to assemble and sturdy, stylish, and easy to clean. I also appreciate that the ceramic bowls are both microwave and dishwasher safe. As an added plus, the ceramic pet bowls we already own also fit nicely into the openings of this feeder so I have a back-up set when the included bowls are in the dishwasher. One thing to note: the bowls came sandwiched between layers of thin styrofoam, so one of them unexpectedly slipped out and onto the granite countertop when opening the box. Thankfully it did not break.
