Fully charged and last 30 min awful

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to record a bird nest on my front door wreath. I did use a video app to enhance the colors which was easy, but this was worth the purchase to capture the reality show I am calling “Keeping up with the Finches”. I love that it has the magnet and tape so I didn’t have to put holes in my door frame. The rechargeable battery last about two days - but it’s recording about 250 clips a day.

The camera has good build quality and the included stand is very sturdy. It is a very good value for the price and has performed very well for me. The video is very high quality and you can easily make out small details and textures up to 20 feed and larger details up to 40 feet. the basic motion detection is very good, and if you are willing to sacrifice some battery time the ai assisted human identification and zone identification features let you be even more specific.There are a few compromises though. It takes a couple of seconds after detecting motion to start recording, so you can miss the "beginning" of any action that takes place. All of the recordings tend to start with a big screen flash before the light sensor adjusts. This is worse in the dark where each recording starts with a blinding full screen light before fading into what is, objectively, very very good low/no light recording.The worst thing about the camera though is that it only records in 10-15 second bursts when on motion detection, and then has to "reset" and re-detect motion. By default, the reset timer is 15 seconds, but you can turn that down to 0 seconds if you want, but it still leaves you with a recording folder full of 15 second clips to sort through.I wish there would be an update to let you set the time to record after detecting motion, as I would like it to be 2 or 5 minutes, instead of having to use a video stitcher to put clips together into a useful video.

The camera would not pair Camera. I tried everything!! Followed the direction and charged the camera also but know connection. Turned off the power and turned on the power! That’s the reason for sending it back!!

So far so good. Set up was easier than most and it doesn’t require a factory reset to change the network like that camera did. Supports 5G, which is great. Image is high quality. It doesn’t look like it will survive outside but the listing says indoor/Outdoor and I’m taking them at their word and putting it under the eaves.Image quality is great but reflects off the glass at night, which they tell you not to do. It has kept a charge so no problem like the other review said it had. Pretty easy to operate; I think it has a lot of features I will never use. Captures the UPS and Amazon delivery guys coming up the stairs, about 40 feet away, without any problem. Has sirens and talk features that I don’t think I’ll ever use. You get a couple days of cloud storage for no additional charge and it takes a micro as card. I used an Amazon Basics 64 card and I think it’s overkill.You can flip the orientation in the app, which was handy so I didn’t have to get the stepladder out.If I’d fault it for anything, it’s the manual. It’s a little skimpy. There’s an instructional video where you can watch a teenager click through the menues at the speed of light. But the interface is intuitive so if you know what the features actually do, you’re all set.

This camera is great except for one little thing. Where I needed to film was in a very dark (picture was GREAT) and very, very quiet room. As much as you can turn off the blue light when it films, this camera makes a very audible "CLICK" when it starts filming. It was detected by the first person that went in that room that shouldn't have been in that room. It was in a place that they would not have looked except for they heard the click. But, the camera is wonderful. Great pics in pitch black or lights on. It's better if you can keep in plugged in all the time which I had done.
