Helped my baby's head
My son had a flat spot on the right side of his head when he was 2 months old, and was eventually going to be evaluated for a helmet if it didn't improve. I found this pillow online and we used it consistently for 2 months. We used it in his swing, in his crib, when he laid on the floor, etc. He's now 4 months old and he rolls around a lot now so he doesn't stay put on the pillow, BUT the shape of his head has improved so much. Its catching up to the left side and is getting nice and rounded out! I am convinced that the pillow helped to distribute the pressure more evenly on his head when he slept on his back. His pediatrician doesn't feel he needs a helmet and is not concerned at all. It was such a relief.

Wow! Definitely helps!
My daughter is 2 months old and we noticed her head was starting to get flat. She slept in a rock n play at night because she liked the incline. So we bought 2 of these to help with her head. It's been one week and it has already helped the back of her head. We use it when she is in the rock n play, bassinet, pack and play, and on the changing table when we change her. It has done wonders! We really didn't want to have to have her where a helmet and she won't need to because this pillow has really helped!

Really helped my son fix his flat head
At two months, my son was developing a flat spot on the back of his head and my pediatrician was starting to discuss the possibility of referring him for a helmet if she did not see improvement at his 4-month visit. We got this pillow and used it in his bed and when he was playing on the floor. In two months, we saw lots of improvement. By six months, with the pillow and him spending less time on his head, his head is perfectly shaped now. We are so thrilled with this product. Thank you so much!

I was so skeptical about this pillow. I must ...
I was so skeptical about this pillow. I must say that I am impressed. After the first day of using this pillow I could see the shape change of my son's head. Its been a month and he will be 4mos in a week. His flat head is definitely changing.

Helped round out our baby's head at 4-5 months
We have a beautiful baby but he had a flat head from lying on his back. The pediatrician asked if we were concerned and we asked "should we be". She said our baby was perfectly healthy but many parents elected to go the route of a "helmet". It was our choice. We did some research and found out these helmets run thousands of dollars, the baby has to wear it 23 hours a day, etc etc. It seemed like a lot of money to put our son through something we felt would be extremely discomforting to him. It seemed almost like torture to have our baby have a ''perfect head"We tried this pillow which was under $20 in hopes it might help. In just a months time from using this in his crib, car seat, etc his head is now rounding out in back. It was truly amazing what Mother Nature did once we took the pressure off that one spot in his head. I normally don't write reviews on products but this was so significant I felt I wanted to share. Before you get your baby a helmet try one of these. I am not a doctor and this is not a medical opinion, but it worked for us!

Happy baby, happy life!!!
I CANNOT BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH THIS PILLOW WORKS. I initially bought it to prevent my newborn from having flat head syndrome. I noticed that as he grew from a few weeks old to now 2 months, he just gets crankier and crankier. I never knew why, but EVER SINCE I'VE MADE HIM SLEEP WITH THIS PILLOW, HE DID A FULL COMPLETE 360! He went back to being the calm baby boy he was when he was days / weeks old. He sleeps 101% more comfortably. I'm actually going to stock up on these from now on. Already buying my 2nd one now, just in case, even if I just received this pillow 2 days ago :p happy baby, happy LIFE!

Recommended for new little ones.
My little one slept really well on these head pillows and it definitely helped her head to round out as she was growing. After 4 months though, she wasn't staying still enough to keep using them. It washes very well and doesn't move around too much when she is sleeping. I still use one on her changing table and it works really well to cushion her head. I recommend them to all of my friends to help make sure their little ones heads don't get flattened on one side and they agree that it is helpful.

Don’t buy this. You will regret
I regret buying this product. I used it for 4 days for my 6weeks baby. My baby’s head got the shape of hole inside this pillow.

Helps resolve flat spot!
Love this pillow! My baby had a significant flat spot and while his doctor told me it wouldn’t result in a helmet if we did enough tummy time, I was still nervous and decided to buy this. I put it everywhere. My doctor advised putting it under the crib sheet for sleep. My baby was two months old when I got it and he said at this age it wouldn’t limit mobility, but it could be a concern for a younger baby. I would speak to your doctor about this before using it on a newborn. Personally, I will be using it only on the floor or hard surfaces for the next baby, but from birth on. I do believe this and a combination of coaxing my baby into doing tummy time and wearing him (a few hours every day) is what resolved the flat spot. Don’t expect to just use this pillow, it helps but it won’t fix it all alone.

Preventative
We bought two of these for upstairs and downstairs. They’re not easy to use on anything but a flat surface on the floor or crib so that’s where we use this most, even though it is recommended for chairs and such - we find that too awkward and we don’t like how much forward it pushes the baby’s head...doesn’t seem safe.I’m not sure if it has helped with fixing head shape but I do think it certainly has helped prevent further flatness from laying on this back.

Its good
I want to believe it works but my baby had already developed a flat head before i knew about it. But nevertheless i still use it to avoid placing her head directly on a hard surface for ex, when changing her diaper..but note that its best for when the baby is still small..i started using it when baby was about 3 months, now my baby is almost 5 months, she is active now and trying to roll so doesnt even keep her head in it anymore. But i still recommend it, use this early and avoid having to use the helmet for head shaping which is so expensive .

Non removable cover makes it hard to clean
Good product if used effectively. We currently have a slightly softer crib mattress (Newton Wovenair crib mattress), and find that the pillow sits too high when baby is lying in the crib.I highly recommend washing this even though it is new out of the box. Upon hand washing we noticed that water was really murkly and dirty, possibly from the foam or the non-removable cover.Pros:Great for use outside the crib on a playmat or craddle/swing where there is a hard surface.Cons:Does not come with a removable case for easy cleaning. We ended up having to hand wash the pillow and and hang drying. *remember to hand dry well to avoid mold.
