This box is NOT 3.5" deep, it is 2 3/8"! The frame is 3.5", but if you're actually looking at inside dimensions (like I was) just take that into account. I would recommend adding inside area to the item description.

Thank god I didn’t “gift” this to someone. It looks REAL cheap. The one I received looks like it was a used one. TONS of lint, hair, dust inside the one I received (see photo). If I got it from a store I would just return it. Glass wasn’t broken; not worth the effort, just going to fill it will bottle caps anyway 🤷‍♂️.

VERY LARGE!!! I purchased as part of a sand unity ceremony. We had to disassemble and add backing because there was SO much room! Great if you're going to use it as an actual shadow box - I'm sure you can fit a lot in it.Back does not remove - glass slides in and out from the top. Only a small (maybe 1" diameter) opening on the top if you were going to "drop" things in. I had to glue my glass (due to the sand)... so beware if you have small particles. I am really happy with this purchase!

This was great. I used this shadow box to make a vacation fund for me and my boyfriend. Its a little large but it works great and made a very nice gift.

Using to showcase cigar labels rather than military medals, patches and stuff like that. As I smoke more and more, I save the labels and flatten for a day or so and then add to the shadow box. I will add a photo if I can figure it out.

I bought this for my husband so he could put his beer caps in them for his man cave. it was sleek and well-made. He's excited to start using it. The hole on the top is big enough to get the bottle caps in without any effort. I'm glad I did not get one that had a design etched into the glass. This was exactly what he was looking for!

My mom wanted a piggy bank for Christmas and this fit the bill perfectly. The slot is perfect to deposit currency the size and closed sides allowed me to create a beautiful gift for her. She absolutely loved it. My daughter now wants one.

The color is described as gray but it's most definitely brown with a tiny bit of whitewashed look. I wanted gray or black but can't find the right top opening in those colors so I guess I'm keeping this one.
