Thick Door Kit for Ultraloq Bolt Series Smart Deadbolt Lock

Lost my keys for one of my ultraloqs. I was delaying buying a whole new unit because I didn't know they sold only this sku! Finally I forgot to change the lock's batteries and they died, so I was locked out. I drilled out the existing lock with a drill bit and quickly replaced it with this... omg what a quick save!!!!

Running into a door that was slightly thicker than expected made installing the smart lock more complicated than planned, so this kit was picked up to see if it could solve that issue without replacing everything. This kit does exactly what it's supposed to do by extending the reach for thicker doors, allowing the Ultraloq Bolt series to install properly. The screws and spindle fit perfectly and saved me from trying to source random parts at the hardware store. However, giving it 3 stars because it feels like a very basic set of extension pieces that probably should have been included with the main lock, or at least priced a bit cheaper. It works fine, but it’s a mediocre value.

My door is 2.5 inches thick and this doesn not work. I understand it is "for Thicker Doors Between 45mm (1-3/4") - 57mm (2-1/4") but it also says the following: "Note: The backup key is for the extended cylinder, which is suitable for thick doors between 2-3/8" and 2-3/4" in thickness. Please also replace your current screw D with the longer one." What does that second sentence mean???
