I was worried it might release itself from impact or just rolling around in my pocket, which is why I went this route and not the magnet version. This one uses a pin-style push-down release. It won’t disengage unless the body is pushed back intentionally—which simply won’t happen inside a pocket—but it’s still easy to operate with one hand. I attached it to my small multitool along with my car key, so I can detach and use it easily whenever I need to. It makes carrying and accessing everything much more convenient. Overall, it’s a sturdy, well-designed item that’s easy to use and feels reliable.
