Solar Gnome Cowboy The cow is cute and the statue is cute and I guess the gnome is cute in a puppy kitten way not a high school cafeteria girl clique whispering "oh look at that cutie " about a boy. It's tons of fun and has already brought a lot of smiles and joy. For an object which is expected to sit in one place and do it's thing by holding still, no moving parts, it is pretty darn sturdy feeling. Not super heavy like lead bricks, but not Styrofoam light either, heavy enough to stay in place but easy to lift to move if you want to redecorate or mow easier. The lights are small but noticeable, and I wouldn't expect them to be incredibly big or as bright as a rocky ocean shore light house because the solar panel can only be logically so big on something this size without making everything ridiculous (imagine a 3 feet wide 5 feet tall solar panel wired to a massive battery attached to this decorative cute cow riding gnome so it could have powerful flash light style lights... That would ruin the vibe!). I haven't stared at it while lit long enough to time the battery life but it's been performing well inside with light through a not super sunny window, and again size of solar panel and battery don't lead me to reasonably expect it to stay lit from dusk to dawn at this time of the year here (late fall in the U.P.). It's cute enough when I see it with or without lights. I really like it and expect it to bring smiles for a long time.

Very cute gnome, but the solar part doesn't last very long. The gnome no longer lights up, but during the day it still looks cute. Just don't expect the light to.last long. Maybe a couple months.

This is a he best or both works for us. My wife and I love gnomes and we love these hairy cows, too. And those piece blends both—and does well at it. It looks well made and the paint is nicely done also. We have it on our dresser where it doesn’t get much sunlight. However, the lights are cute on it and help add additional charm in the evenings. This is as adorable as we hoped it be!

I love the design and the look of this decoration but even after charging it for two days, the light would only come on for 30 seconds and then go off. I checked the switch to make sure it was on but it still would not work properly. I really wanted this to work to add to my outdoor area for decoration but was disappointed when it did not.
