Looks great on the patio and puts off a good amount of light. The citronella scent isn’t overpowering and it seems to help keep bugs away. Burns evenly and lasts a while.

The product really looks good and serves it purpose in my backyard.Giving it a 4 star rating because received damaged and plastic lid to keep it covered during non usage was received completely damaged . Had no time to return or replace as this was a last moment purchase for a gathering. Handling needs to be better

Having bought these candles many years ago, I bought three of these candles again, but now years later this new quality is absolutely terrible. They came with only one lid that was all cracked and broke. I would typically use those to cover it up to keep bugs out after I'd blown the flame out. But that wasn't an option. Two of them were dented and all the handles were missing. But none of that would have mattered had the candles actually worked correctly. I you leave them to burn for a while to keep the mosquitoes away, then all the wax will turn to liquid and the wicks fall to the bottom. Obviously wax will turn liquid if it all gets hot, but the wicks were so thin and flimsy that there's nothing holding them up when that happens. These candles are supposedly designed to burn for a long time to keep bugs away, but if the wicke aren't able to stand up and stay firm then the candle is done for. And that is what happened to us. All the wicks fell to the bottom and then when the wax hardened they're useless.

Very, very, very cheap metal that’s got next to zero chance of arriving still circular. Similarly cheap handles that you should assume will arrive bent and disconnected. I know Amazon rejects reviews that discuss shipper issues. But, in this case, the metal is so incredibly cheap it guarantees shipping issues and deserves to be included in the product review. I ordered three. Every single one was bent. Every single one had the handles bent and disconnected. One was so broken there was no salvaging the handle. They’re fine if you want bulk citronella candles and don’t care at all about their appearance. If you buy them because you like their tin bucket with a handle look, be warned it’s so cheap it almost certainly won’t make it to you looking like that. Check the many other reviews calling the cheap metal issues out for corroboration.

Walking out on my front porch at dusk was an open invitation for the mosquitoes to feed! I live by the lake and it seems mosquitoes are horrible out here. So about 6 PM I will go out like this candle and let it burn so I don’t become a chunk of prime rib for hungry mosquitoes! I have to let my dog out a lot and I like to stand out there with her while she does her business and this citronella candle has really helped out a lot. In fact, it feels like there are less spiderwebs on my front deck and less bugs as well. Great product when this one’s gone, I will buy another!

Doesn't smell like other citronella candles and works great.

Product showed up with out a carry handle, which was one of the selling features. Product isn't authentic to description. Very unhappy customer. Plan on returning as not been opened.

Burns way to fast. Bought June 29th already out. Attracts alot of bugs
