Its a great watch, very retro, just like the original Rolex GMT but actually affordable for the average person. You can use this watch to tell UTC time very easily, which I do when I'm setting up scheduled jobs in my local time zone.Vostok automatic means no batteries to replace, and its a rugged watch. The screw down crown means even during the sweaty summer days the watch stays water tight. A real winner!

A very impressive GMT watch for the money. Great dimensions, 200m water resistance, and is a strap monster. I didn’t like the stock metal bracelet, so I swapped it for a Barton silicone strap. Highly recommended.

First off, I like Vostoks because they're rugged and reliable. Like a lot of Russian engineering, it's not always the most technologically advanced, or refined, or finely finished, but the solutions to problems are novel, different and startlingly effective.Although this watch is technically called a Komandirskie, it actually is more akin to an Amphibia, with 200m water resistance and a screw-down crown. The movement is unfortunately non-hacking, but that is a minor gripe.My 4-star review is because the watch I received did NOT have the butterfly clasp on the bracelet as depicted here, it was the cheesy fold-over clasp with the safety buckle. I've not personally seen the Vostok butterfly clasp bracelet, so I can't comment on its quality, but the bracelet i did get was, frankly, one of the worst metal bracelets I've ever seen on any watch, period. No worries, though - I swapped the cheesy bracelet with a Barton silicone (black with red underside, to match the colors on the dial) and it is wonderfully comfortable and good-looking to boot. Also, another minor gripe is that the 24-hour GMT hand is *ever so slightly* off from the 12-hour hands. When the 12-hour hand is lined up to an hour index, the 24-hour GMT will be off a couple of degrees. Not a deal-breaker, since I can just look at the minute hand to figure out the exact time in the second time zone, but it's a minor annoyance. I realize this is a $125 Vostok and not a $15k Rolex GMT, but it is a slight bother nonetheless.Finally, the bezel, while serviceable, is rather loose. It would also be nice if the numbers (even numbers on the bezel) had a dot or line index along it so you could more precisely see the time in the second time zone. I plan on swapping the bezel out for a red/black Coke bezel, again in keeping with the theme of this watch.All in all, though - this is an excellent value watch for a GMT. While some may argue it isn't a "true" GMT, because the GMT hand cannot be independently set, I say, "hogwash." The original Rolex GMT had a GMT hand that was slaved to the 12-hour hand, and one utilized the bezel to see what the time was in a second time zone. Are you going to say that the Rolex isn't a true GMT? Plus - I love that simplistic, typically Russian solution to a GMT. Simply turn the bezel and you can see the time in another time zone.Buy this watch - you won't be disappointed! ** As long as you keep your expectations in line with what you'd typically expect for $125

From jet engines to weapons and now watches...the Russians build them using clever and ingenious methods that result in 'Strong like Bull'. They might not be as elegant as others, but when function is a priority this watch fits the bill. Mine is running with excellent accuracy after 4 days and I'm looking forward to taking the back off in a few more weeks and tweaking the timing to get it close to perfect. All mechanical things will break in so even though the people who assembled this watch did a fantastic job....it might be a bit off once it's worn in and the clever design of these watches allows the back to be removed easily for service. Especially considering the cost....you can't go wrong with Vostok.

Spectacular value for money.

Vostok k65 black GMT with 10oc subseconds. Great qatch. I am quite happy with it. Looks good on rubber, nato and leather. A few notes, watch arrived and clocked 60s fast across first two days. Bezel ring pops off at slightest knock. I have seen these watches go as deep as 850 meters so great water resistance. The look is outstanding. And the GMT is definitely functional. I definitely recommend the watch. I will probably have it regulated and update the bezel spring. Original bracelet was quite similar to the Hexad but less refined. I wouldn't mind using the original bracelet for around town but not reliable under stress. Much appreciated to Vostok and their team.

Great product

Watch came with more than I thought. Box, paperwork, it was perfect. New and wrapped for protection. Shipped and arrived one day early. Will use seller again.
