Weise Thruxton Protective Jackets

Lovely jacket but some shortcomings. First is the sizing. You need to order at least 2 sizes larger than you'd normally. Amazing that such a good company can make something with sizing that bears no resemblance to reality. Second is the colour. This jacket is very dark drown. So dark that I wasn't sure if it was in fact black. Third, the body is very short. You can a feel for this in the photo. If you have a long body or any sort of beer-gut you are going to look silly wearing this. On the plus side the leather is absolutely gorgeous (thick yet supple), the quality outstanding. It is warm (with a detachable liner) and very solid indeed. Great protection although I would have removed the back protector as I looked like a hunch back. I would have kept this but for the colour and the length (or lack of it). Sad as it is a fab jacket. Returned for a refund FOC via Amazon - great service.
