I love this product. It’s very tasty (better than most others) for a salt free seasoning. A definite recommendation.

This had become my "go to" seasoning for doing fish on my grill. Everyone loves it. Cajun but not too spicy even for the kids. I do redfish fillets with the skin/scales still on directly on the grill. Melt some butter and chopped up garlic together. Brush that over the fish. Sprinkle with kosher salt to your taste. And then cover the fish good in Magic Salt-Free seasoning. Cook it over the charcoal with the lid down and throw in a little of your favorite wood for extra smoke if you like. You will be very happy. And the price for this blend is actually pretty good though it will seem high if you compare it to other seasoning blends that include salt. Salt is cheap and all the seasoning companies want to sell you salt in their blended products because that is high markup for them. But this is salt-free which means you are buying only the premium products. And you can control your own salt content precisely (and use kosher salt if you prefer for meats/fish like I do). So this is actually a good value.

Due to medical problems I have been forced to eliminate all added salt from my daily diet. Some of the salt substitutes won't work for me either. I felt almost bereft because I was a salt girl. When I found this salt free spice, I was skeptical. Well, not anymore. I really love the spicy taste of this blend! I won't pretend to tell you that it tastes like salt, it dosen't and it's not supposed to. That isn't the idea. It is intended to give great flavor so you won't miss the salt. Now that it does! In spades! Diamonds, hearts and clubs too, ha ha. All joking aside, things have more flavor than ever before. I especially like it on potatoes and chicken. I use it on just about everything I prepare. I might naturally have cut down on salt if I'd had this before. Need or no need, if you like spices (not hot mind you) that are full of flavor, try this spice. At least for me it's been the answer to a huge problem both in flavor, and because of the low/no salt diet, I'm feeling a good deal better. I see the questions about sugar. Only brown sugar is listed and is 4th down the list. ALSO what no one has mentioned is that the ingredients per serving listed say there are zero carbs per serving, and I imagine that even if you use a generous helping of the spice you would not get any equitable amount of sugar from yhis spice to bother even the worst diabetic out there. I still really like this stuff.

If you’re looking for a Creole spice, this is it. Great for all kinds of recipes. Salt free is a plus for any dish. I use it in cream sauces, sausage gravy, my dry rub for ribs and roasts, meatballs, soups, shrimp and fish.
