I really love this bowl, and the reason I'm giving it four stars is because the bowl gets really hot in the microwave. Otherwise a really nice bowl.

Love the bowls for salads with dinner. Ordered 3 sets of 2. One set came and the bottom bowl was broken so had to return it and reorder. The bowls are stackable but can be heavy if you stack more than 4. Bowls do not fit that well in the dishwasher. The 6 bowls take more than half of one shelf in the dishwasher. Bowls look very nice. Can be easy to chip but overall a nice bowl.

I was looking for a generously sized bowl to make a 'noodle bowl' type dish for one person. This bowl is great for making noodles with fish soup and adding a bunch of separate ingredients (shrimp, onion, egg, chicken, spinach, etc); whatever you want. With this bowl you can see all of the additions without having them smoosh together or disappear in a smaller, deeper bowl. So it is a perfect size and a nice simple but elegant design.

I got 4 of these bowls for our cummunal kitchen to replace the ones microwaved to death. Everybody loves them. They are just the right depth and diameter for those of us who prefer large portions of whatever and pretty durable, as I dropped a smaller bowl on one a couple of times with no damage to either. Perfect!

I bought 2 boxes of 2 and one arrived broken.Vanessa responded to my message within hours andshipped me a replacement set(2). Very happy withmy purchase and love the size and look of the bowls!

Good hefty weight but not too heavy. Good for a small bowl of noodles, bowl of rice topped with stir-fry, big serving of cereal or oatmeal, side dish serving bowl. Wish there was a slightly more decorative version.

When I recieved my bowls, I could tell they we're sturdy and what I was looking for, but we're the black meets white on the rim there were some manufacturing imperfections. There was a number of brown smudges on the white inside of the bowls. I emailed the seller and they sent me a new set without imperfections right away! They're very thick , and high-quality bowls. I'm sure that they will last a long time.

These bowls, manufactured in China, have a strong and unpleasant smell. I first noticed the chemical smell when I washed them, and when I walked into the room the next day, the smell was still there. I would be very concerned about food safety with these bowls, and would warn shoppers away from them. I have disposed of them.
