This book offers a great variety of Christmas favorites. Although they are easy to play, the arrangements are beautifully done and sound wonderful! I highly recommend.

Got this for my high schooler taking a piano class, and it’s been a great addition to her practice. The arrangements are easy enough for beginners/intermediate players, but still sound full and recognizable. There’s a nice mix of classic carols and popular holiday songs, and the notation is large, clear, and cleanly printed—great for sight-reading. It lies fairly flat on the stand and pages turn easily, though it’s a big book. Definitely worth it for the number of songs you get. A solid holiday collection for students or anyone brushing up on Christmas favorites.

This intermediate sight reader found the collection delightful. Easy to read formats (most pieces are composed in the keys of G, C or F - so no struggling with complex key signatures.) Chord charts included in each piece are helpful. Wide selection of literature. Nicely arranged--with a few jazz notes thrown in every now and then. Very happy to have this as a permanent part of my music collection. Packaging was good and shipping was timely. Excellent purchase.

It had a large verity of Christmas music and easy enough to play that you don’t get frustrated with the difficulty. The only thing that would make it better would be a ring binder so it would stay open.

Good songbook. Plenty of Christmas songs I like and some I don't know that well and will give them a try. Songs are easy enough to learn in a couple hours but still sound like full songs. My only complaint (and this is true of all books like this) is that it doesn't come in spiral bound form so you basically have to break the spine to make the book stay open. This is particularly annoying when turning pages while playing a longer song. I'm tempted to tear out the pages I really like and put them in my own spiral bound notebook.

I love this book! The arrangements are challenging for me, but learnable. The beauty of these arrangements motivates me to practice! Oh, and did I say that I love this book?

This is a truly outstanding collection of advanced beginner Christmas songs with something for everyone melody wise. "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas" is one page that took me a week to master. There are others such as "O Holy Night" that are longer and take a bit more practice - lots of arpeggios. I had five years of Suzuki piano lessons as a kid but hadn't played the piano in decades until a year ago. This book is just perfect for my abilities and is something I can play from indefinitely with practice. That's the key - they are not super easy but are enough of a challenge that I haven't gotten bored yet. Comments regarding binding? - I just press the pages and spine and the book stays on my electric keyboard stand just fine for current songs. Those that require a page turn I'm not playing yet? - I will likely be regretting not getting the whole thing comb bound. (Update: I contacted Staples and they said the page margins are too narrow to accommodate comb binding.) Regardless, I'm thrilled with the book.

I am a music teacher who is mediocre at piano. I can read music and count rhythms, but I don’t have the skill and coordination to sightread complex piano parts. I LOVE this book. The arrangements don’t sound childish, but they’re simple enough that with a little practice I can play everything in this book. This book is not for beginners, but for a true intermediate player (or former player who wants to dust off the piano at Christmas) this book is amazing!
