Works indoors and out.
Before applying, I recommend reading the instructions. Reading the instructions gave me a few tips I wouldn't have thought of on my own. As for the spray, I had a few to many carpenter ants all over my deck. I simply applied the spray (as directed) against the clap board siding on the house and wherever else I saw the ants on the deck. 2 hours after the repellent had dried 95% of the carpenter ants were gone. This spray is supposed to last a minimum of a month. I'll keep you posted on how long it actually kept the carpenter ants away. Lastly, this ant repellent had absolutely NO fragrance whatsoever. I am happy I chose Terro carpenter ant repellent and would recommend it to a friend. UPDATE it's been one week since I applied the repellent. I'm pleased to note the carpenter ants are completely gone from my deck.

Kills the little critters very well!!
This stuff works really well. I like the nozzle which allows you to spray up into a crack or opening and still keep the can in the up right position. I had a shed with signs of Termites. Grant it that I used the whole can, but there are no signs of Termites now. As you may know they drop little hard pellets as a sign of there existence, but not any more. Well pleased!!

Works great! But leaks.
We use the first can of this after first receiving our order and haven't seen any trace of the carpenter ants that we were having a problem with. Unfortunately, we opened the second can today to apply a backup application and it leaks all around the top when spraying soaking your hand with the contents. I don't mind paying this price for a product that works, but not happy about the product leaking.

Stop gap - Be sure to call the professionals
The key to this product is spraying directly where the termites are tunneling. You may need to chip out wood. Spraying on the outside where they don't travel is 100% useless. I had the beginning of a termite invasion in my basement. I used this product as a stop gap measure while waiting for the pros who do what the pros do. Termites can cause 10s of thousands of dollars in damage and can potentially destroy wooded structures. This product does not replace a professional inspection and pest control. Having said this, after I used the product, I did not see any evidence of additional termite activity. It was also the very beginning of an infestation and they did not make it more than a couple feet into the house before I found them.

worked on carpenter bees
I tried another brand for about a week which didn't seem to get rid of a carpenter bee infestation, so I switched to this which has a more potent (and yes toxic) main ingredient and it seems to have stopped the infestation. Just be careful not to get it on your skin or breath it in.

Sputters and not a lot of content
I purchased a two pack of this canned version. I used the spray bottle version of this product last year and I felt it was a good value. It seems they now only sell it in a can on Amazon Prime. It looked like a nice design however, I found both cans lacking much content and, when spraying, it sputters more air than insecticide. I tried spraying while holding the cab at different angles. It is best when held straight but that’s not ideal when I’m trying to target nests on ground level. I also found, after much sputtering, that the contents exhausted very quickly. The insecticide comes out of the nozzle in foamy white, bubble-spritz and reduces itself to a small amount of liquid after the bubbles vanish. So, I feel it’s more air in the foam than insecticide. I hope I’ll be able to get the regular spray-bottle version again. I feel it was much easier to use and a better value.

Works on carpenter ants!
Amazing! I had carpenter ants coming in at multiple access points. I put out gel bait but they were not interested. I sprayed at the entry points, the next day they were gone. I did not use it inside because I have pets, but I didn't need to!

Wow - effective or what!!
Totally 'user friendly' while absolutely not so for the victims. A termite infestation was outside my experience and so took a bit of research to properly identify.
