I bought one a while back. It works great. I decided I needed another one. I also decided I wanted one for a gift for a friend. Look no further. These are simple, reliable, accurate enough, weatherproof, cheap, easy to mount, 24 hour delivery (with Prime) and they are made in BRITAIN !!! = win win win win........ {big thumbs up}........

This is a very useful room thermometer. It's easy to read and accurate but it is a bit flimsy to carry in a kit bag. For the price it is value for money but I would rather have paid a bit more and had something I could use with confidence.

Does what it says and gives a number to the temperature.

Accuracy not bad. I have three other thermometers I have compared this with and its within 1C of the others. Don't expect medical grade clinical accuracy for this price, and within 1C of accuracy is good enough to measure outdoor temperature (whether the actual temp is 18C or 19C, or -1C or -2C, doesn't really make a massive difference for a casual observation).It is quite difficult to read. Rather than a cylindrical bead of red fluid in the thermometer it appears to be a flat bead and as such can be difficult to see if you're not looking at it from the correct angle. Minor irritation - it won't kill me to waggle my head from side to side until I can see the red fluid indicating the temp.It is a very cheap plastic thermometer. All I need it for is to hang outside the window so I can see what the outside temp is. If the above defficiences become too irritating then the solution is to pay more for a better quality product.

This is a good cheap room thermometer it works well happy with it & would recommend

waste of money still showing 22 degrees since I put it out on the shed.In shade facing north as it should be. Bought it because it was make in England. No wonder it's going down the hill with the country Just get one made in China and it will work better for sure. Not recommended

I didn't mind taking a punt on this for £2.50 despite the mixed reviews. The main pros include no batteries, it's small / portable, and accurate.It can be difficult to read from some angles (which twizzling didn't improve) but I didn't wall-mount mine so that wasn't a problem for me. It even survived being dropped once - but not twice :( - so I'd definitely suggest choosing one with a stand if you do not intend to wall mount it.
