A friend wanted to learn how to make sourdough bread, so I purchased this kit for them as a gift. The items are pretty decent quality, just want to ensure they are all hand-washed only to retain that. Everything is very simple to assemble, if any assembly was needed at all. The bannetons were the perfect size for us to cold-proof the loaves in. Great little kit for just starting out.

It's a good all around set. I'm not totally sold on the Danish dough whisk, but lots of people like them. I use the cutter and banneton every time I bake bread and they both work well. I'd recommend this set, especially if you are just starting out.

As a new sourdough baker, I needed multiple tools and this kit has been good for that reason. Pros: The whisk is a nice sturdy quality. The plastic bowl scrapper is amazing and I use it the most out of all the tools. I use the brush to clean the liners of excess flour and it works well. The lame works as expected and I like that there are multiple blades and a lame cover. I haven't used the metal scrapper yet so can't judge that aspect. Cons: the proofing baskets are not a great quality. The surface is covered in wooden slivers, so you have to be careful handling them. One also had a completely cracked panel. The baskets still work but they are definitely something I'll have to replace soon or else I will end up with too many slivers from picking them up.

At first I was going to return it because it looked too small, but I decided to try them and I was surprised. It was the perfect size, the extras make it easier to bake your bread.

I am just starting out on my sourdough journey and needed banatin baskets and a bench scraper. This kit came with everything I needed and more. Helps my bread making process in shaping batard and round loaves. All is great quality and appears durable and overall a good value for the money.

Worked great for my gluten free sourdough loaf! shape, texture, etc and the cloth dried right out.
