Nice but ultimately disappointing.
This is a beautiful device. Taking it out of the box felt amazing - it is very thin, very light, handles very well and I expected to really enjoy using it. However my first problem showed up trying to set the device up.The tablet is highly configurable, but I did not expect that to be an issue because, although retired, I have always been a techie and worked for years designing, writing and updating software. What kind of issues could I have setting up a tablet? Well, first of all the default keyboard turns out to be a combined Chinese and English version which unfortunately does not have all of the characters I expected and so I could not sign into my own router, and I ended up spending quite some time figuring out how to change the keyboard and ended up having to pair with an external bluetooth keyboard. And a lot of the setup operations were like that, more difficult than they should have been. Not impossible, but I expect to have a simple setup and then spend the time to figure out where and how to configure the device. But the main issue for me was that there is no front light and so the device absolutely needs a brightly lit environment. A well lit office would be fine, but a dimly lit home is not. The screen is not white, but a light grey and the text did not stand out well enough for me to see, even when I turned on some lamps. Added to that I like to read laying down in a dim room and in that kind of environment it is not easy to even see the text, let alone enjoy reading. The tablet OS is Android and I had no issues loading Android software, but the tablet was less responsive than I expected because the e-ink display is slower than normal tablet, so although the apps worked they felt slow and cumbersome and in the end I decided that I had to return it. I did not want to, but the display failed me in the one function I bought the device for. All of the YouTube reviews that I previewed before buying said that the lack of a front light was not an issue, but it was for me.If you buy this to work in a highly lit environment you will probably love it, but it just did not work for me and I will return it.

Productivity and entertainment
Love it! It replace my notebook and I’m using it daily. As it’s Android base , it has flexibility on browsing website and reading comics.

Great Device, received used unit.
I rate the Boox Go 10.3 4.5 stars. However, I have to rate it lower as the unit I received was sealed and packaged like new, but what was inside was clearly a used unit that had finger prints and marks on the screen and the back had dirt spots and what appeared to be makeup. It also smelled of perfume from the previous owner. There have been reports of units being returned and sent out as new. The unit I received was clearly repackaged and sealed to appear new. I have owned and tested the ViWoods AiPaper, Boox Note Air 4C and the Boox Go 10.3 is a great value with lots of bells and whistles. I paid for a new unit and expect to receive a new unit. If anyone is looking for a good note / ereader, this unit is a very good option with crisp display, good battery life, many features to satisfy most needs.

Value and Versatility
I purchased my Boox Go 10.3 lightly used for only $160. For that price, I love it and enthusiastically recommend it.Would I prefer a Remarkable Paper Pro or a Supernote A5 X2 Manta? Perhaps, but either would have cost at least $500 more. I couldn’t justify spending that much more when the Boox product offers everything I need.

Do not buy before reading this
I was excited. The hardware is great. But there are so many bugs, and worst, so many software implementation flaws that basically, assume that whatever you do on this tablet can vanish at any moment.I copied two files just now. Deleted then the initial files. BOth are gone. No access to trash. There is no backup option. The only thing that you can back up are your NOTES. Images, screenshots, edited pdfs, all that is GONE.I reached out many times to Boox with bug reports, they never have a solution, and in fact, 90% of my requests have gone unanswered. There has been one software update in 4 months. Despite all these bugs. That tells me that this is already a legacy product and they moved on to the next device.Another example : so I linked my google drive account to back up my notes (can't back up anything else to it, they only allow you to select your notes). And it turns out they had stopped syncing because of an issue, and there was a message there (and nowhere else, no warnings, no notifications at all) that I needed to disconnect and reconnect my account (good example here too of the complicated hell these guys implement, they don't call it disconnect like everyone else, they invented a new term for it, to unbind it). So none of my notes were being backed up to my google drive. For about 2 months now. It's not just the tablet that I dislike, it's the company and how they sell a product without caring at all for people who own it. Their only motivation is to sell the hardware. There are some cool features there, but it's like two college students that build something. It's not professional, it's not thought out, it's not good enough.

Excellent
Perfect for notes and reading. The screen is super crisp and the device is really thin, tho if you're buying this, be aware there isn't any front light. I use a neck reading light to read in the dark, but overall, this is an excellent product!!

Works great but received a used unit
I think I was sent a used unit. The tablet came in the factory box and had all of the accessories. But after opening the box I noticed that the tablet had marks on the screen from someone writing on it. The next thing I saw was that the pen was in its plastic bag it was shipped with but it wasn't sealed shut. Then when I looked at the pen I saw that the stylus tip was worn down from use. I've included pictures of the used pen tip and the writing marks on the screen. Luckily I was able to wipe off the writing marks that were on the screen and so far the tablet seems to be working properly. But I may need to buy replacement tips for the pen. Will update this review if I notice any issues with the tablet
