If you have ever wanted a pocket watch this is one to get for sure. The fit and finish is beautiful. It keeps time. It has some weight and thickness to it and feels substantial in your hand without being imposing. The mechanism is quite amazing. It is not a particularly large face or small for that matter, it is about 45 mm diameter making it average size. It comes in a petite but well fitted box. A perfect gift for someone or yourself. Stuhrling is a watch company from Brooklyn, and designs the watches there, but the watches are made in China, this is not a hidden fact, but obviously not advertised as well. It is a good watch and clearly manufactured well, but know what you are buying so that you will not be disappointed. It is excellent and the price is not beatable frankly. Although this watch competes in price point with the Charles-Hubert (has Paris listed on the face, but known to be manufactured in Hong Kong, and possibly using either Japanese or Swiss movements), I would say it is superior to the Charles-Hubert, but that pocket watch I was also impressed with, a very nice piece, I just like the fit and finish on this one better, but this will be a personal preference.

Very nice, not sure why some complain about winding it. Half the fun and it winds by your movement. Needs to be out of your drawer and in your pocket. Very solid and weight, feels good in your hand. Chain appears to be durable as it is thick and not cheaply built. When winded up regularly, time is well kept. Looks incredible, started wearing it more often.

Exceptional value for the money, pretty easy to use. Instructions are pretty clear. Honestly, it kind of sucks keeping time for more than a day or so, but would you expect from a wind up watch.

The self-winding pendulum was stuck. I opened it up to fix it. Lots of cheap plastic on the inside. Got it fixed and everything works properly. Not really impressed.

Higher quality than I was expecting. However, the watch face is rotated slightly when on the stand.

I couldn't pass up this deal. The watch arrived with the back not attached (loose in box). I didn't want to pop it back on myself for fear of breaking it. I notified Stuhrling and sent it in under warranty. Watch came back the same day they received it in perfect working condition. I just love this alternative to wearing a wrist watch. The built in stand let's me look at it all day on my desk. Just a note, the seconds had dial threw me off at first. It seemed really slow and I was worried it wasn't functioning correctly. Turns out it is a 2 minute indicator instead of 1 minute. Just a quirky unique feature.

Very beautiful watch. Gave as a gift to an associate retiring. Hope some remembers me as well😊

Tres belle montre qui pour l’instant fonctionne tres bien. Mais voila son support en forme de demi cercle a l’arriere tient avec deux mini vis qui son tombées toutes seules (donc perdues) apres moins d’un mois. Pas moyen d’obtenir la garantie constructeur par amazon qui est le vendeur et l’expediteur et qui s’acharne a me demander de la renvoyer pour remboursement (donc garantie du vendeur). Ils ne fournissent aucun contact constructeur pour que je demande juste qu’on m’envoies les 2 vis bref ils n’assurent pas le lien de garantie constructeur contractuelle de 2 ans!
