Not say there is anything wrong with the program but this was a purchase made by me.I have been in constant conversations with Beatbot on the need to update their firmware. Finally a new version dropped, and this thing is no longer getting stuck on the shelf edge and the weir flap has changed its operation to keep stuff it already trapped from getting out. They did this by changing the timing of the flap opening and closing as it speeds up and slows down as it approaches edges or sides of the pool.It still REALLY cleans the bottom well and now no longer having stalled jobs or having it report “floating” when it shouldn’t.This is a solid product and I have updated my rating to reflect that. If you haven’t updated your firmware, please do so.Original Review BelowI was super excited to get this in my pool. I have a 16x32 rectangular pool with a tanning ledge. Nothing out of the ordinary.Pros: It REALLY sucks up the bottom debris and even handles the pollen, trapping it in the filter baskets. Climbs the walls and does the water line pretty well.Runtime was very good and recharge time was also very good.I attempted to contact support through the app and we did start conversations about firmware updates to resolve some of the minor issues I observed with the top water cleaning.I actually got an email from one of their techs that advised one of my suggestions was already in the development cycle for the next release of firmwareCons: need to release firmware to address minor issuesOnce I have a chance to load the new firmware and go through a cycle of cleanings, I think things will be fine.

I have a 30k gallon pool and this unit cleans it 100% and then some. I have been using Dolphin e70 for the past few years and it was good, but the cord and cleaning was a pain. Beatbot is above and beyond the best! I put it on max clean custom mode, and it cleans for over 5hrs on a charge, when finished it parks its self floating and easy to grab. (the dolphin I would have to pull the cord to get it up) the filter baskets do a great job and super easy to clean, the clarifying option is awesome on days we want to swim or have guest, leaves the pool crystal clear. I love this unit!

This thing is great! It’s heavy so I suggest being able to plug it in by the pool and not have to carry it far. The only thing that would make it better is if it the battery life was longer for larger pools. I can’t use the skim feature because it dies before it has a chance (I live near trees so it gets dirty). I had one with a cord and I did like being able to leave it in to clean everyday vs taking it in and out. But this one with the AI feature does a better job at cleaning. It’s a little pricey but over all I’m happy with it.

save your money people! Not worth that kind of money! it is pretty heavy, Did not climb one wall, did not come to the top of the water to clean or retrieval. And yes I had it on Pro mode.Had to get it both times from the bottom of the pool. Was stuck up rite twice against the step. Returning this pos that's for sure.

I absolutely love this pool cleaner! I have had a pool in every house I have lived. Hands down the best pool cleaner I have used!!! It went up the walls and actually had the ability to finally go on the tanning ledge and clean it and the steps!! Battery life is great and charged quickly . So easy to use!!! 1st time I put it in my pool I almost cried when I saw what it did! My pool is so clean EVERYDAY!!

The media could not be loaded. So far this thing is as advertised. It’s pricey but to me it’s worth the money. In the end I think it’s more about how long the battery lasts so time will tell if this is ultimately worth the price tag. The app works great. One thing to be aware of is you can’t communicate with the robot when it’s under water from the app. If you want to take it out of the pool or you want to change the cleaning mode you have to manually get it from the pool to the surface so it can pick up WiFi. Once it picks up WiFi you can control it from the app again. It runs on one charge an estimated 6 hours. Easy to charge too. It cleans the bottom of the pool and walls very well. Way better than the corded robot I had before. The pool skimmer feature is a bonus because I didn’t buy it for that. It works ok. To get the surface really clean it takes a really long time but generally gets the job done. Just be patient with this cleaning mode. In my pool the skimmer only works when the cover is opens when it’s closed it hits the cover and doesn’t go anywhere. One thing to note is that it is fairly heavy and you have to handle it every time you use it so be aware if that is an issue. One thing that I do is put it in at night and it’s is always waiting in the corner surface of the pool in the morning. All in all I’m very happy with it and the the little issues are not problems for me.

I've had mine for almost 2 weeks. It does a much better job than the Aiper unit I replaced. When fully charged and set to Pro clean, it will do the floor of the pool, the wall and lastly the surface of the pool. However, there are a few issues such as weight 29 lbs. There is a small area of the pool that it never cleans, so I have to push the garbage away from that corner of the pool before running the robot. It does a great job on the rest of the floor and the wall. When it gets to clearing the surface of the pool it does a decent job, but I recommend watching for when it is done cleaning and it should be removed from the pool immediately or the detritus in the basket will float out and back on the the surface of the water. Overall, I like the produce, however, it is a good deal more expensive than the Aiper which doesn't do as good a job. So I recommend weighing your options before deciding on which unit you want to spend the big buck on.
