Lovely light formula, doesn't smell *heavily* of sun tan lotion either 😂 sits well under makeup, and doesn't pill as long as you wait 3 mins before doing your face (I find by the time I've brushed my teeth after using this, it's set and ready) formula feels great and I'll be buying again

No fragrance or any irritation when started. Liquid formula so spreads out really well. Byoma is smashing it with their skincare and this is definitely up there with one of the best spfs I’ve tried. Goes great under makeup too and very hydrating

After using this product for over a month, I'm torn on it. The texture of this is beautiful and it feels lovely to apply. However, it does take a while to dry down before I feel it's safe to try applying makeup. However, I don't feel like it ever fully absorbs and I am still aware of it on my skin. I initially struggled with pilling wherever I applied it but I have found that the more time I spend rubbing it in, the less likely it is to happen. Regardless of this, no matter what I do, it always pills on my neck. I have combination skin and I do feel that this would be better suited to people that have try skin, as it is definitely moiturising and you could probably get away with using this AS your moisturiser. It does leave you 'glowy' but I'm not sure this is the look I'm going for as it tends to look more greasy on me instead. I have never found this to leave a white cast but I am quite pale, so this is not something that I massively struggle with anyway. I do find that it stings my eyes throughout the day so I try to avoid putting it anywhere near my eye area, but I am conscious about the reduced level of protection around my eyes due to this. Overall, I think that this would be a really good sunscreen for people with drier skin and while I will continue to use and finish the bottle, I'm not sure that I would personally repurchase.

This really irritated my eyes, they would sting upon application be watery and irritated all day. For 1+ years I have used the byoma moistening gel cream spf 30 with no issues. I recently went to reorder it and it was unavailable everywhere, I’m not sure if it’s been discontinued. So I decided to buy the non spf gel cream and this separate spf thinking that would do the same job. However, as soon as I put this spf on, even if I avoid my eye area, I can feel my eyes starting to get irritated and sting, and within a few minutes they are watery. I couldn’t even wear makeup with it because my eyes were watering so much all my makeup would come off. I tried it for 3 days as I wasn’t sure if it was allergies or something else, but noticed each time that it began as soon as I put the spf on. So today I washed it off as soon as the irritation started, and it has stopped now, so definitely the SPF. Such a shame as I love everything else byoma, but this formula is obviously not for me.

Its quite small, so you can easily carry it in your bag for reapplication. Rubs in well, you don't get any white streaks or that paleness from usual sunscreen.

Really not for me. I initially liked the light, fluid texture, but the strong spf smell was really off-putting. It was not suitable for acne prone or oily skin as marketed, but left a greasy film and made me break out in tiny spots. Using on my arms and legs to not waste it, but won’t be buying again.

I wanted an spf that is 100% cruelty free, that works as a moisturiser and leaves my skin matt and not shiney. First impressions, the bottle is very small!!! I know it's only 50ml but I wasn't expecting it to be so small. I never heard of Byoma before this. The consistency is quite runny and the liquid comes out light peachy colour. The dispense part reminds me of a highlighter. Before squeezing the product, I would advise to gently tip it upside down and back a few times first because you want to avoid air bubbles coming out as you squeeze and if you shake it then you'll likely get more bubbles than sunscreen. I do think it makes my skin look dewy and glowing but it's not matt enough for me and makes my forehead shiney, i dont really wear make up but those who do could easily sort the shiney issue. I dont think I will buy this again for that reason and the cost per 50ml but i think a little bottle will last as you don't need much. My skin can be sensitive but i have been fine with this product and it sits nicely over the serum I use. The weather is quite grim so I can't comment on it's effectiveness against the sun but if you want a high spf compact sunscreen to keep in your bag then it's perfect and the lid holds secure with a click so less chance of leaks. I quite like Byoma as a brand and have another product of theirs. As a bonus I learned that all their products are Vegan friendly.
