The smell is very strong and lasts a long time, it does burn your skin though.

I've been using this for a couple years now. I have COPD so I sleep with an Oxymask (brand name) and is fabulous by the way for us night time mouth breathers...............LOL there I said it I admit it). I put a couple tiny drops above the plastic where the oxygen cone is like in the valleys of the frame work and sort of slowly move the mask to spread it around inside the mask for the aroma. But don't leave it puddled inside. It may irritate your skin on contact. It helps me breathe so much better at night, keeps my sinuses open. If you are not bothered with the paper masks or cloth ones you could just simply put a drop under where you nostril would be on the mask. Made a world of difference.

This Thieves oil comes in a tiny bottle holding 0.17 oz. I use it for aromatic purposes. I add 15 to 20 drops in an 8 oz spray bottle and add distilled or purified water to it. I shake it up right before use because oil and water don't mix. That mixed combination brings about the best aroma you can ever imagine as well disinfects and cleans the air.

We were introduced to Thieves products (this oil and others) when we over-used the humidifier in my baby's room and discovered mold growing on the closet door. I just about freaked out, since mold is bad and she was sleeping right next to it. I looked around for natural remedies to my problem, since mold remediation can often be a very toxic process, and time and time again, people pointed me to Thieves!I started diffusing this oil in my baby's room and used the Thieves cleaner straight on the mold. The mold went away and stayed away!I also love that this can be used topically and internally. I have been applying it (diluted in a carrier oil) to my baby's feet first thing in the morning and before bed at night. She made it through the cold and flu season unscathed! My husband and I haven't been so diligent about applying it to ourselves, but when we feel the first symptoms of any kind of illness, we apply it every few hours to our feet, and we escaped cold and flu season as well!Thieves is also great for airline travel. Airplanes are like flying petri dishes, so we upped the frequency of administration to ourselves and our baby before our 10.5-hour flight to Japan. We'll do the same when we fly home.I am so thankful I brought this (and other Young Living essential oils) with me on our 5-month trip to Japan. I am not a fan of medication or antibiotics, and I believe that Thieves has contributed to us avoiding trips to the doctor. We are staying in a community with other American families who are here for work (like ourselves), and most of them have had some sort of flu bug and many have taken their children to see a doctor. I believe it works at disinfecting in a proper ( not harsh) way! I used it a few years ago then found that Amazon had it for sale. I ordered it and found it to be the same as I had used before. That made me happy!
