This is a super sturdy good looking kitchen blender set. Great for blending soups etc and also comes with all the useful accessories. The Jug is quite large enough for making large smoothies. It also has a small chopping unit for finely chopping other stuff. The whisk is very handy for beating eggs or cream. I like the fact the blender stick is metal so I can blend hot soup in the pan. It's fairly quiet for a blender and so versatile. Great quality and value for money.

This Andrew James hand blender is generally a very good purchase, especially considering the price point. It's incredibly easy to use, feels robust with its metal shaft, and comes with a decent set of attachments that handle most tasks very well. However, where it slightly lets itself down is with the chopper attachment. The blades don't seem to be close enough to the bottom of the container, which means you often need to add more liquid or ingredients than you'd expect for the blades to properly engage. I found this particularly challenging when trying to blend avocado for guacamole, it required a lot of scraping down the sides and adding extra liquid to get it going. For this reason, I'm giving it 4 stars. Everything else works very well, making it a valuable tool in the kitchen, but be prepared to adjust your expectations (or your recipes) when using the chopper for smaller, thicker quantities.

I’ve had this Andrew James 5-in-1 Hand Blender for a while now and it’s one of those kitchen gadgets that gets used far more than I expected. I mainly use it for soups and smoothies, and it’s powerful enough to blend everything quickly without struggling. The motor feels strong and the variable speed settings make it easy to control depending on what you’re making. The additional attachments are genuinely useful rather than just extras thrown in to make up the numbers. I’ve used the whisk for batters and cream, and the chopper attachment is handy when I don’t want to get the food processor out for smaller jobs. What I like most is that it saves both time and washing up. Instead of using multiple appliances, I can usually do everything with this one set. It feels solid in the hand and has been reliable despite regular use. The only minor downside is that it does take up a bit more cupboard space than a basic stick blender because of all the attachments, but that’s to be expected with a 5-in-1 set. Overall, it’s been a very worthwhile purchase and one of the most-used appliances in my kitchen. If mine stopped working tomorrow, I’d replace it with the same model without hesitation.

I am extremely disappointed with this hand blender. I have used it fewer than 10 times, and it has already stopped working properly. Before it completely failed, the power became unstable and the unit started flashing intermittently. Eventually, it would no longer operate at all. I have followed the instructions correctly, and the product has never been misused or overloaded. For a product that is supposed to be durable, I expected it to last much longer than a handful of uses. I also have video evidence showing the flashing lights and the fault. I cannot recommend this product based on my experience, and I hope the manufacturer improves its quality control

Powerful hand blender. Very handy attachments. It feels heavy duty and very sturdy. Very pleased with my purchase.

This product has amazing power; I made some cakes and it worked wonderfully. The only downside is that the bases are very small.
