Every once in a while I have to unplug everything and plug them back in. Not a huge issue, but gets a bit frustrating in my line of work when I have a screen that doesn't work properly anymore.

This is an excellent USB 1-to-4 port. All 3.0. Individual on/off switches. Included connector allows use with my tablet and phone. (If only it would do my tax returns!)

This little tool seems to be the perfect tool when you only have a slot or two in the laptop. The interesting thing is the computer does not pic it up as a software source until you slide the button for the USB. Once on you will see the file. I have had 3 on at one time and all files were registered.But I have been working on something and the USB disappeared and I could not save. Also sometimes after connecting, sliding the button, it still is not recognized, until you unplug the USB and then go back through the process. I have not lost anything, yet, but it is disconcerting when you are working on something and the file disappears and your page work goes gray mode. 😮I'm still using it but with a bit of consternation.1 star for simplicity1 star for convenience1 star for price

Looked and looked for "this" one day, and gave up as prices were between $40--$110--having many features I didn't want. All I wanted was to increase my USB capacity (by even one). The next day--after I had given up--THIS bobs to the Amazon surface! It was approximately $13! Arrived today. It is tiny and neat. Came with a big handy patch of velcro, which was unpromised--just bonus material--which I may use for something else.Anyway *Value for Money, and *Easy to Use?Oh, yeah. Just pulled my mouse plug, plugged UNIT in "Boodleoop" and plugged mouse back into one of the four USB (that's all it is/does) ports "Boodleoop," then plugged a thumb drive into a second port "Boodleoop." All works perfectly. Off switches are extras (meaning I could take or leave 'em), with nice dim blue lights letting you know when you're operational in any given port. Sweet Deal!(Okay, looks Iike I just learned the secret. If you want a USB plug-in device to increase your USB (number) capacity, you have to request "USB splitter." Even so, I am glad I ended up with this neat little fella, and they had enough sense to have the Amazon search engine know I might mean this when I typed "USB dock" into the Search Bar.)

Easy to use and works fine

I have an older laptop that only has 2 USB ports. Since I needed one for my mouse, I didn't have enough ports for other plug-in devices. This little hub gave me enough extra ports to use my laptop without having to switch devices manually. All I have to do is turn on the switch for the device I desire and voila, I'm in business to do what I need to do. I'm sure it conserves energy as well since I don't have to leave devices on when not in use.

Not even two weeks and one port went out.I had bought another brand here on amazon and one port went out, so I wanted to try this brand.For some reason it went out really quick. I need this since my computer doesn't have enough ports for my needs.
