VOLPAM Electric Scooter: A Solid Commuter Pick with Great Value
The VOLPAM electric scooter, covering various models with 350W/500W motors and different battery configurations, offers a strong set of features for its price point. While the specifications like speed and range vary significantly across their product line (from 16 to 28 miles of range), the core package is consistently a reliable choice for the urban commuter on a budget. โก Performance & Power (Varies by Model) The motor for this model accelerates from 1-19 mph very quickly. Smooth performance on the road. ๐ Range: Be Realistic The advertised maximum ranges (16-28 miles) are likely achieved under ideal conditions (light rider, flat terrain, "Eco" mode). For typical, real-world commuting with varied terrain and higher speeds, expect about 50-60% of the max range. This is a common reality for all electric scooters, but the various battery options available mean you can select one that best fits your daily round trip. ๐ Safety & Braking The Dual Braking System is a major highlight and a feature I appreciated most. Combining an E-ABS (Electronic Anti-lock Braking System) on the front wheel with a rear drum or disc brake (depending on the model) provides reliable and safe stopping power. It feels responsive, giving you confidence even at higher speeds. ๐ด Comfort and Ride Quality This is where the differences between the models with 8.5" and 10" tires, and the presence of suspension, become important. * Solid Tires (8.5"/10"): These are maintenance-freeโa huge proโbut they do make the ride noticeably bumpier, especially on older pavement or rough roads. * Dual Suspension (on some 10" models): If your commute involves any cracked sidewalks or rough paths, the models with dual suspension are strongly recommended. They significantly smooth out the ride, making it far more comfortable. Final Verdict The VOLPAM scooter is a fantastic choice for the first-time buyer or the budget-conscious urban commuter. The dual braking, powerful motor options, and easy folding system offer great convenience and safety. If you can spring for a model with dual suspension, you'll have a much more enjoyable ride. Just be sure to base your range expectations on your specific daily route and riding style. It is amazing value for the price and we like everything about it.

Excellent customer service!!
I ordered two of these scooters for my kids for Christmas. Because we live in northern Iowa, they didn't get many chances to ride until spring. One of the scooters is fine, but the other one won't hold the screws for the handle bars, it turns out the holes are stripped so the screws kept vibrating out. Unfortunately, I am outside the window for a return or replacement but I did message the seller about maybe sending some replacement screws so that we could maybe use an epoxy to permanently hold them in place. They got back to me right away and said they would send some out and it took a little while but I just received the package today. Not only did they send replacement screws but they sent a replacement for the rod that holds the handle bars (so no more stripped screw holes!) I feel bad because this morning, I left a review with a 2 star rating, thinking they had just said the would send replacements but didn't. Then low and behold like magic, here the ups man came. So grateful to this company and I am so sorry for my lack of patience!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I donโt know how long of a review I can write so I will try to shorten this as much as possible. I know the price of this is enticing compared to other scooters out there, but do yourself a favor pay more money and get one thatโs not a piece of junk. I bought this in October 2025 and my son opened it on Christmas Day 2025. Worked good for about eight weeks and then the end of February. It started showing a wrench on the screen. I googled it at first thought we could maybe fix it, but then realized we could not. I reached out to the seller on March fifth 2026, asking them about this issue. The communication is sometimes a day or so apart they always respond to me at like two or three in the morning. Theyโre obviously on a different time zone so I donโt get their messages until the next day most times. On March 5, 2026 they responded saying that it was the motor. They didnโt give me any reason as to why the motor would already not be working, but said that I needed a new one and that they could ship me one, but I would have to install it. I was not comfortable with doing that but he was telling me at that point that was my only option. I said OK fine send me the motor. on March 12, 2026. I messaged him back, asking him where the motor was because I had not received the tracking number he said he would send to me when the scooter motor was shipped. They replied with the motor being out of stock and I believe that was on March 14, 2026 and they had no idea when the motor was going to be In stock. They could not give me any estimation on when that motor would be available which I thought was unreasonable because if itโs five months from that point when youโre going to have a motor thatโs unreasonable I contacted Amazon and they exhausted all they could do which was reaching out to the seller as well because itโs a third-party company. It wasnโt sold by Amazon. Amazon suggested I just ask for a refund since there was no estimation on when the motor would be available so I did that on around March 20 20th or maybe 26th. I canโt quite remember, but the seller replied saying that the warranty time had passed on a refund so at this point, I have no scooter. They have my money and my son rode the scooter for eight weeks. The seller suggest I send them the scooter and let them put the motor on because itโll be quicker because theyโll have the motor at their warehouse. He tells me it will take 15 days at that point I have to send the scooter. The seller suggest I send them the scooter and let them put the motor on because itโll be quicker because theyโll have the motor at their warehouse. He tells me it will take 15 days at that point I have to send the scooter. Iโm still in communication with them because I donโt want them to think that they can just keep this scooter and get it ready whenever they want so they keep telling me theyโre going to get with the warehouse and get the scooter done because at this point we are getting to the 15 days. After reaching out again, he finally says the scooter is being shipped. I received the scooter back today. It is working right now, but I would be seriously shocked if it is still working two months from now. I bought another scooter at the same time. I bought that one from a different seller for my younger son and that scooter has not had one issue so buyer be aware do not buy from the seller. You may not even want to buy this brand but either way the seller was unreasonable in many ways not great with communication and it could be all volpam scooters are just crap. It definitely makes me hesitant to buy from any third-party seller on Amazon.

Bumpy ride but overall great value for the money
So Iโve put about 53 miles on it so far and it has been great. It has been able to tackle all of the hills in my neighborhood (I live in a very hilly area). Of course on steep hills it only does about 8-10mph, but it does make it. It does do 19mph but only going down hill. I maxed out at about 17 on flat ground (I weigh 170lb). What I will say is there is not a huge drop off in acceleration until it get below about 10%-15%. And I was still able to get close to top speed(about 14-15mph) it just took a little longer to get there. The speed wonโt blow you away but it will get you where you need to go. Definitely better than walking lol. The range is what I was surprised with. I got a little over 13 mile out of it riding on S(19mph setting) the entire time and I was full throttle most of the ride. I am fairly confident you could get the full 15 miles on Eco mode. Great commuter scooter for quick errands or short trips within the neighborhood. My only true dislike is the solid tires and lack of suspension makes for a really bumpy ride. Itโs great on smooth streets but on the sidewalk or even old streets it can be pretty bumpy. Not unbearable but definitely worth mentioning. But for the price it is a sacrifice I am completely ok with(which is why I still have it 5 stars). It also has a locking feature within the app that locks the tires on the scooter for added security, which I really like. Great for reminding in a store to pick up food or something. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a commuter scooter to get to work or just around the neighborhood.

Fun and decently quick for local trips and jaunts, poor power consistency as battery drains.
This is a pretty good value for the money. It maxes out at 16mph and that will vary according to incline of road and battery level. When the battery reaches 3 bars I notice it has quite a bit less consistent power to the wheel. A couple times I waited to charge it until it hit 2 bars and had to walk it since it was barely able to hit 5mph. The hand brake is quick and strong, so apply gently and get used to it - I actually counterbalance it a bit when braking by bending my knees a bit and leaning back. The wheels are hard and will transfer any vibration and bumps in the road up to the handlebars. It has a nice bell for alerting others or announcing your arrival. The headlight provides plenty of illumination for night use and the tail-light is great for safety. Easy to assemble once it arrives (90% complete) and folding for carrying using the front release is handy but I rarely do it to prevent wear/tear on the cable components passing through the section. The display is easy to read and use and very intuitive. I use it for quick trips to the store or quickie mart if I'm only getting a couple items that will fit in my backpack or for jaunting to the local post office. I give it 4/5 stars only for the inconsistent power/battery issue. And no, I don't use the app.

Very Good
It went really fast and the quality was amazing. Whenever you hit a bump it would stay upright. Very easy to menuver and stand on. Kinda heavy but you can fold it in half. The color was so cute and so comfortable and smooth on the roads.

50/50 chance.
Ordered 5 of these scooters for Christmas and 2 have broken already. The front wheel came loose on one scooter causing the electrical wiring to wrap around it and break. The second just quit working. The 3 remaining are not ridden as often, but are working great. These are made for pavement riding and definitely do not roll well in grassy areas. The scooters are fast and fun to ride when they work. The battery holds up well enough, but long distances are not suggested.

What I've been looking for in a scooter
Before I write the whole review, I own a NIU KQI2, great scooter but is a bit heavy and big for me. So after doing some research and watched some YouTube reviews on this scooter I took the risk. Very cheap E scooter but handles pretty good. Much lighter at 27lbs, chuckable in the car or when I need to fold and carry it. Gets good enough range I can hit up almost every place in town on a single charge, 12.5 miles on sports mode. Handles better on the road than I expected with it's solid 8.5 inch honeycomb tires, road vibration don't seem to travel up the handlebars as bad as several scooters I've tried so far. This scooter manages 19mph with a 350watt motor which is impressive, pretty speedy for a budget scooter. The locking mechanism for the handlebars is a tested proven sturdy design and doesn't flex much when I'm riding which is reassuring. Has a companion app, though I must warn you it's not the best, though functions enough for me... Just don't lock your scooter with the app, a lot of people are having difficulties unlocking their scooter after locking it via app... You have been warned. Very compact and easy to store in my rectangular room, you in a small space too, this one doesn't offend much. Very easy to just set up and ride, just be careful of its full capabilities, test ride it before going full throttle. A surprisingly good scooter per cost value, would recommend for someone looking for an inexpensive beginner option in my opinion. One thing I will complain about is the handlebars width is rather stubby, for a 34yo 5'8 person it sketches me out a lil bit on windy turns/bad bumps... Had at least one of my hands slip off the grips cause of it twice. Just be cautious of that and you'll be fine
