Excellent Quality and Premium Performance – Perfect Fit
I’m very satisfied with the Syneticusa Stealth Black Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover – Premium Edition. I installed it on my 2021 Silverado 1500 LTZ (2022 model) Diesel, Crew Cab, and the fit is perfect. The build quality is outstanding, the finish looks great on the truck, and the cover operates smoothly and securely. It feels solid, well-made, and truly premium. The waterproof performance is excellent, the locking system works perfectly, and the T-slot rails are a great feature for adding accessories. The only small drawback, which does not affect the product’s quality, is the installation documentation. The manual is incomplete, and the installation video provided is for a different model. However, after researching online and watching installation videos from other manufacturers, the installation process became clear and manageable. Overall, this is a fantastic product that performs exactly as advertised and significantly improves both the look and functionality of the truck. I highly recommend it for Silverado owners looking for a high-quality retractable hard tonneau cover.

good choice
instructions were unclear and it is a two-person job. but it looks reaaal good. unfortunately, the locks freeze - need to coat in lithium grease or de-icer

Good product, terrible instructions
After installation it seems to be a good product, although, more time needed to determine that. Installation was not easy. Mostly because of really bad instructions. You recieve three pieces of instructions without any guidance on order of these three. You have to start with assembling rails. This is where I feel that corners were cut. Picture of the product shows you completely different corners from what you get. Not assembling those at the factory saved them buck or two on labor and couple of inches on overall length of the shipping box. But that is we’re you will spend disproportionate amount of time putting it together. The rest wasn’t bad. Six very long clamp screws that you obviously needed to replace with even longer ones included , will leave you scratching your head and asking “what for?” Assembled cover opens less than one in the picture. Most likely, one cross bar could’ve been removed, but to do that after the installation you will need to remove rails and start over. Will wait with that for now. My canister was damaged in shipping and was bent. No word from seller on that. Had be creative to make it work. Canister has a piece of rubber that hands by design between the cabin and the truck bed. Seems as a good idea to deflect the rain. However, once you get over 60mph on a a hot day, rubber starts vibrating from the airflow and in the cabin sounds like loud rattling noise. At first I thought aluminum bars were rattling but these are sitting pretty firm in place. Once I realized it was the rubber strip and used scissors to trim it, noise stopped. You don’t need to cut it off completely. Just enough to make sure it doesn’t reach the cabin. Overall, cover looks good. Hope it will last few years. To the seller - how hard it is to make a YouTube video with instructions? It will make it so much better experience for us. And get those rail caps preassembled. It’s a shame that three types of screws, 10 or something on each side to put this thing together.

Decent for price
It does work great, closes and locks so am happy for that. What I didn't like was the instructions mention drilling holes into the truck bed after installation for the tube's. For the most part it is water proof but wish it would have covered the tail gate just a little bit more than it did. Price is cheaper than a dealer for sure though.

Surprisingly good
Needed a cover for the bed of my new truck (GMC Sierra Denali), which was a first for me as my prior trucks had a shells. I take a lot of pride in my truck and wanted something solid. Did a lot of research and selected this one, mostly due to combination of features for the price compared to 'name brands.' Had a little bit of doubt, and a bit concerned about the reviews on installation. All of which turned out not to be true. First, the cover is really nice. Operates very easily, looks awesome and classy. I like the functionality of being able to open the cover w/o needing to open the tailgate. I also like that you can lock the sliding cover at any position. Very smooth and quiet. It comes with a pull-strap, but you don't really need it. Secondly, the installation was, overall, much easier than I was expecting. The instructions aren't the most detailed (likely translated from Chinese), but with some noodling you can figure it out pretty easily. I took my time, and still got it done in a couple hours by myself. Some reviews talked about odd parts and wrenches that were hard to assemble, but they must have improved the design as it was very straightforward. A few notes. The 'box' that the roll-up cover goes into does take up some space in the front of the bed. Can't be avoided, but just know that you'll 'lose' the front 14" or so on the top (open underneath). I suppose this like the tri-fold ones in that regard, but I like the ease of sliding it back/forth. The weatherstripping for the side rails were kinda wadded up at the ends from shipping, so took a bit to slide them into the channels (needed a blow dryer to soften one up). The drainage tubes are on the large side, which is not as discrete as I'd like. Must be to allow leaves, etc., to drain out? After initial install, there was a 1/4" gap between the closed cover and the tailgate. So I just loosened the clamps and slide the whole thing back and now fits fairly snug. Haven't test how weather-proof it is yet, as my stake cover pockets are open (for now). Very pleasantly surprised.
