Good product
I’m love making small electronic projects. This small product worked very well in a few of my experimental projects.

The High Voltage Output hurts! Be careful!!!
What you should know: #1) The manufacturer is very serious about the input voltage. Less than 4.8 volts and they don't work, over 6 volts and there is a really good chance they will only work once and then be burnt out. #2) Besides the correct voltage, you also need a source that will supply a decent amount of current. How much? I don't know exactly, but I do know that the average phone charger won't cut it. I use a 18650 rechargeable battery and a a simple momentary push button switch (see video) and they work great. #3) These things put out HIGH VOLTAGE and it hurts if you zap yourself (or someone else) so don't freaking do it!!! It won't kill you, but it will get your attention and have you rubbing the spot that got zapped for a while. I use them as a training aid with my dog's. No I don't touch them with it, just the sound of it is enough to make them stop what they are doing. Anyway, be careful and have a good time.

BLOWS!!! at 6v 2.5amp. works with 6v 250 milliamps (.025 amp)

HV defective unit.
I bought this unit to make a bug zapper, but unfortunately it didn't work. I don't know what's wrong with it. I wouldn't spend any money on it.

Cool but fragile. Died @ 5 volts...
It was fine when iran it on 3.7 volts but it died immediately when I tried it at 5 volts.

Works good. But high output side wires are junk and barley held in with glue.

not working under it where the power goes is brocken (cracks) capacitor is popping out i just waisted my money or i just not lucky to had a unbroken one

Works great! Made a Racoon scaring device. The Racoons that were messing us my yard have run away! It's really loud and scary sounding.
