Works well for my purposes! I purchased this to filter cigarette smoke coming from the neighbors. The air usually smells fresh now! As you can see I have it stably secured to the wall. During measurements I accidentally dropped it from that height onto wood floor, and nothing broke, it just bounced! So it scores well on impact testing... It's held up now by its simple but surprisingly convenient leather strap. Up there it is out of sight, does not take up any space, and also circulates the room air much more than when regularly vertical. FYI the square footage reported by all brands of air purifiers (not just this one) is silly. You need to move your air to get it to the air purifier somehow... and no matter how strong a single fan is it won't be able to clear a whole 1000+ sqft place like advertised. But nonetheless I am pleased with the power it outputs vs noise generated (more on that later). The air quality readings are actually pretty accurate. I had doubts at first because in the house it always says 0 - 5 PPM even while smelling the smoke. So I put it out the window on a day where it was pretty smokey from wildfires and it actually did jump up to the 30 PPM or so that was in the outside air! I think it just does not take much cigarette smoke to be a disturbance to us, so even 5 PPM is too much. So I do not use the autofan setting, which depends on really high readings to kick on. I keep it on medium fan speed most of the time. The noise is light in the kitchen and it can't really be heard elsewhere. Low fan speed is a whisper though really weak airflow... while high fan speed is really strong but also loud. For reference, high fan is slightly quieter than a microwave vent on low setting. But the medium fan blows air very well without much noise at all, so I recommend to keep it in medium. The noise it does make is also a soft tone I will add, nothing harsh. Lastly right now filters aren't very expensive. You wont need to change it often though, and it will tell you when its time. I paid $10 for a spare filter with my purchase for when I need to change it in a year or so. Glad to breathe clean air! Also happy with the long length and small wire gauge of power cable, made it easy to feed through cabinets.

use it all the time often on for days at a time. helps with dust and cat dander and hair. easy to clean. fairly quiet even at max settings. used in a bedroom. Been running solid since i got it in July 2025. Ready for a new hepa filter currently. hope it lasts another 7+ months after getting a new filter.

I love the sleek look of the MIKO !BUKI+ air purifier. I love that I can download & use the my Miko app. I can see the air quality rating and I can set a timer - I believe I can even turn it on before I get home if i’m out and about . It’s quiet on its lower setting and )of course ) the sound quality increases as you turn up the fan.. I find the sound relaxing and will most likely keep this on the highest fan setting - I purchased this one to have specifically in our bedroom - we have two cats and I have dust allergies. We also open our bedroom window in the day and close it at night ; so it will be used at night . When fall and winter arrive we will most likely use this all day on the lower setting . I bought this product because it’s highly rated and it’s esthetically appealing. I like that it uses a hepa filter. It also has a rating scale on a label telling you how the quality of the air is - those numbers match up with a color- that color will be the color that lights up on the top of the unit-..So clever! I feel this will be a perfect match for our needs. So far so good! Happy with my purchase 😊

Over 10 years ago we moved into an old house in the Deep South. The climate is very humid and ideal for mold. I had not slept through an entire night since we moved here, except when we were traveling away from home. We visited someone recently who has an old house and also an air purifier. I felt much better while I was there, but didn’t like the fan noise. I decided I wanted one that was quiet, with the ability to clean mold out of the air, and was light weight. Did I ever hit the jackpot with my new Miko. It is everything I wanted and needed. I slept through the night for the first time last night, in my own home. The unit is so quiet, I wondered if I had actually turned it on at first. It is light weight and I can put it where ever I am, if I want to, and best of all the mild musty smell of an antique shop is quickly fading. I bought two units for our house and it hasn’t been 24 hours yet since I opened the boxes. I am impressed. Have already had a great experience with customer service too. It’s a great product and a good company to work with. Don’t hesitate. You will be pleased with your purchase.

This is unobtrusive and quiet. I use it in a bedroom/workroom because I have respiratory problems, have hot air heat, and live with a cat and a smoker. This keeps that space basically dust free and the air fresh.

The MIKO air purifier for my basement was a good choice due to inadequate ventilation and odors. It covers almost 1200 square feet and has a HEPA filtration system. Setting it up was a breeze and despite being light-weight it felt well made. The LED display on top made it easy to see what speed the fan was running at any time. The auto mode automatically changed the fan speed depending on the indoor air quality and the fan noise was barely noticeable. The HEPA filter with its inbuilt charcoal filter was capable of dealing with dust and pollen particles as well as pet hair. It seemed to have reduced my allergies. A big plus for this price point was WiFi which meant it could be remotely controlled. The My MIKO app was intuitive and was helpful in looking at realtime data from the air purifier with information on the HEPA filter life, schedules and PM 2.5 readings. I would recommend the MIKO air purifier to anyone looking for a well designed sleek and compact unit.

Works extremely well. It's quick to clean out the bad smells and smoke in the air fairly quickly. This product has an app you can use on your cell. I have downloaded it but can't get the app and product to find each other, so, I use it manually. Works just as good. Comes with a filter and the plug inside the system. Remember to Tale out items from the bottom and remove the plastic off filter and reinstall before use.

The Miko filter unit itself I am happy with. I am running it in my bedroom on the second fan speed setting and do not find it disturbing my sleep. No louder than the small fan that I have beside my bed. Using the lowest speed it is extremely quiet. The soft lights on the top control panel didn’t bother me when I am sleeping, but once I recognized that the button with the half moon turns all of the lights out, I have it set that way for no distractions. The unit is sitting on an end table beside my bed, positioned about 24” from my head. There are no miracles or obvious changes to the air that is apparent, but I do believe that there is something changed in the room air. My apartment is in an old century home where the moisture and possibly mold were making it difficult to take deep full breaths into my lungs and my eyes would often sting. I won’t know for sure until the fall or winter if it is truly having a positive effect —- but as of the last several days that I have running this unit continually, my breathing has been more effortless in the room, I am able to sleep more comfortably and I have not had any irritations in my eyes. A BIG WARNING HOWEVER - related to the company that selling this product on Amazon. I do not feel this seller has demonstrated the best business practice, by trying to get away with sending Miko units that are clearly USED or RECONDITIONED. The unit I purchased several days ago, was delivered suspiciously to me, in the thin cardboard Miko box with graphics. No tape holding it shut.strangely there is a strap fastened on the side of the unit. I never thought much about it though as everything worked fine, so I bought another for my son a day later. When my son got it, he informed me that his had to be used or reconditioned as it was in the same simple box, but it was all taped up with packing tape. When he opened it, all plastic bags had been removed from the air cleaner unit and power cord and crammed in the box alongside the unit. There were no instructions as there was in my unit. More importantly the Hepa filter was not sealed in plastic as it should be. I returned that unit to Amazon without issue and ordered another. This third unit was delivered yesterday and was exactly as I would expect. There was a brown box with Miko written on it, that was taped as a manufacturer would do it. Inside was the box that the other two units were delivered in. All interior packaging and instructions and sealed filter were how they should be. Strangely there is no strap fastened to this properly delivered unit nor one included in the box. Makes me believe that my first unit has been used before as well. I may return it as that is not what I presume that I am paying full price for. Anyway - just a heads up from my recent experience.

The Air Purifier itself is excellent. Had it for 6 months and works like a charm. Was very disappointed with the App - device would not pair with the App, even with assistance from their tech support. Plus, ordered a membership, and 2 replacement filters at a great price - only to be advised weeks later that this offer and shipping was no longer available to Canada! What a rip!!! When I signed up, my address was plainly in Canada, but they gladly took payment. After dealing with their support again, was refunded. Not impressed. Good thing the device itself works so well.
