Really good hold and smell nice
I used this gel to slick my hair back and not one hairs out of place. It smells really good and it’s holding my 4c hair (that I straightened) down amazingly. There’s no flakes and it might have some competition with the red jar.

What an excellent gel.
Best gel ever. I live the hold and shape in my hair after this gel application. No messy looks after application. Last full day without extra gel need it. Highly recommenddend.

No scent, no all day hold
I brought this to see if it could combat the Louisiana heat and hold my edges down. I’ve only tried the red on before this and it held pretty good, but I have to use a lot and it didn’t last till the end of the day. It never left any residue on my edges after, but that’s also a reason it didn’t last long with my hair I think because it kinda just disappeared by the end of the night. I don’t know if this one was meant to be stronger than the Red One, but it doesn’t hold as strong and with the red container I was especially attracted to the scent, I was actually disappointed that I could smell nothing. I’d say, if there is a cheaper option, with a stronger hold, for almost $10 after extra fees and things, this item is not worth the price in my option.

Sturdy hold
I interchange between this and the braid n gel for doing knotless and twist. Keeps hair neat without the flaky look.
